Bugatti has unveiled its latest one‑off masterpiece, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Part of the ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire, this hypercar is a heartfelt homage to the original Bugatti Veyron and to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the groundwork for the legendary W16 engine.

Design philosophy
The Hommage draws direct inspiration from the first Veyron produced in 2005, reinterpreting classic elements with cutting‑edge craftsmanship. A massive NACA‑style air inlet dominates the front, while a three‑dimensional, horse‑shoe grille—machined from a solid block of aluminum—has been enlarged for a more aggressive silhouette.

Exterior details
The body is finished in a bespoke, deep‑red paint that uses a multi‑layer application. Beneath the translucent ruby glaze sits a silver‑aluminum primer, creating a striking depth effect that changes with the light. Exposed carbon‑fiber panels in matte black replace traditional black paint, providing a tactile contrast enhanced by a subtle 10% black pigment blended into the clear coat.

Wheel enthusiasts will recognize the 12‑spoke chrome‑plated rims, a faithful recreation of the original Veyron design. They measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, shod with exclusive Michelin tires.

The lighting system has been modernised yet retains the classic Veyron language. Both headlamps and taillights feature sharper LED signatures, while the iconic rear air intakes remain, preserving the hypercar’s aerodynamic heritage.

Interior craftsmanship
Inside, the Hommage departs from the leather‑heavy cabins of the Chiron and the W16 Mistral. The steering wheel returns to the round, Bauhaus‑style design first seen on the Veyron, wrapped in Bugatti’s proprietary “Car Couture” fabric—an exclusive Paris‑made textile debuted on the Tourbillon concept.

Door panels echo the Chiron’s sleek lines but are upholstered with the same Car Couture material, accented by premium brown leather inserts. The centre console and transmission tunnel are handcrafted from solid‑milled aluminum blocks, offering a truly bespoke feel.

A standout feature is the inclusion of an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon, 41 mm, seamlessly integrated into the console. The knee‑side panel bears the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron proudly displays the Solitaire coach‑build logo.

Powertrain
At its heart beats an 8.0‑liter W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers—identical to the unit found in the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The power output remains an astonishing 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent four‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑100 km/h time and top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the lucky owner remains a closely guarded secret.

Programme Solitaire and exclusivity
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation under the Programme Solitaire umbrella, which limits production to just two cars per year. Each vehicle is a clean‑sheet project, with entirely new bodywork, interior, and personalised details that tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s heritage.

With its blend of historic reverence, unrivalled craftsmanship, and modern performance, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a singular tribute to both a legendary machine and the man who made it possible.
