Overview
Bugatti unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second creation of its exclusive Programme Solitaire. Limited to a single unit per year (with a maximum of two produced annually), the car pays homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch – the engineer who laid the foundations for the iconic W‑16 engine – and to the very first Bugatti Veyron that rolled out of the factory.

Exterior Design – A Modern Take on a Classic
The silhouette draws directly from the original Veyron, but several bold updates set it apart. Massive front air intakes dominate the nose, while an enlarged 3‑D horse‑shoe grille, milled from a solid block of aluminium, adds a sculptural touch.

A bespoke two‑tone paint finish coats the body: a deep, metallic red layer sits over a silver‑aluminium primer, creating a striking depth‑effect that shifts with the light. Exposed black carbon‑fibre accents replace conventional black paint, providing a subtle contrast enhanced by a 10 % black pigment blended into the clear coat.

Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels – 20‑inch at the front, 21‑inch at the rear – echo the original Veyron’s design and sit on specially‑crafted Michelin tires. The front and rear light clusters feature a more contemporary aesthetic, yet retain the classic hypercar’s signature large rear vents.

Interior – Bespoke Craftsmanship Meets Bauhaus Elegance
The cabin is a departure from the Chiron and W16 Mistral, embracing a round Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the first Veyron. Instead of traditional leather, the seats are upholstered in Car Couture fabric, a proprietary weave developed in Paris and first showcased on the Bugatti Tourbillon.

Door panels inherit the Car Couture surface combined with premium brown leather, while the central console and transmission tunnel are machined from solid aluminium blocks and finished to order. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch is integrated into the console, underscoring the car’s haute‑horlogerie pedigree.

Personal touches include a knee‑rest bearing the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – The Same Heart as a Chiron Super Sport
Under the bonnet sits the legendary 8.0‑litre W‑16 engine with four turbochargers, borrowed from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The power unit delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and an all‑wheel‑drive system that operates full‑time.

Exact acceleration figures and top‑speed numbers have not been released, and the identity of the car’s future owner remains confidential.

Rarity & Legacy
F.K.P. Hommage is the second bespoke project of Programme Solitaire, a series devoted to re‑imagining Bugatti’s heritage models. Each year, a maximum of two cars are built, with every element – from exterior styling to interior trims – custom‑designed to tell a new chapter of Bugatti’s story.

This singular hypercar not only celebrates the engineering milestones of Ferdinand Karl Piëch but also immortalises the spirit of the original Veyron, positioning it as a collector’s dream for the next generation.
