Introducing the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage
Bugatti has officially revealed the F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece of its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire. Only one unit is produced each year, and the car is a heartfelt tribute to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the engineer whose work laid the foundation for the W‑16 powerplant that made the original Veyron possible.

Exterior: A Modern Take on a Classic Silhouette
The Hommage draws its inspiration from the very first Veyron, yet it has been reimagined with a dramatically enlarged air intake, a 3‑D horse‑shaped front grille machined from a solid block of aluminium, and a striking dual‑tone paint finish. A deep metallic red coat sits atop a silver‑aluminium primer, creating a three‑dimensional visual depth that catches the eye from every angle.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber elements replace traditional black paint, providing a subtle contrast with a 10 % black pigment blended into the clear coat. The result is a rich, tactile surface that feels as premium as it looks.

Wheels, Aerodynamics and Lighting
Front and rear wheels feature 12‑spoke chrome‑plated rims modeled after the original Veyron design—20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear—paired with bespoke Michelin tires. The lighting package has been modernised while retaining the classic Veyron aesthetic, and the iconic large rear air vents have been preserved, underscoring the car’s hypercar heritage.

Interior: Bespoke Luxury Meets Bauhaus Simplicity
Inside, the Hommage breaks away from the leather‑heavy cabins of the Chiron and W16 Mistral. It showcases a round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the Veyron, and the upholstery is crafted from Car Couture, an exclusive woven fabric developed in Paris and first introduced on the Bugatti Tourbillon.

The door panels inherit the Car Couture finish from the Chiron, wrapped in premium brown leather. A fully bespoke centre console and gearbox tunnel are milled from solid aluminium blocks, and a limited‑edition 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch graces the dashboard.

Personal touches include Pierre Veyron’s signature on the knee‑support pillow, alongside Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birthdate. The front apron bears the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo, reinforcing the unique, handcrafted nature of the project.

Powertrain: The Heart of a Legend
At its core lies an 8.0‑litre W‑16 engine equipped with four turbochargers—identical to the unit that powers the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The engine delivers an astonishing 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent four‑wheel drive.

Performance figures for acceleration and top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the fortunate owner remains a mystery.

Exclusivity and the Programme Solitaire Vision
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation of Programme Solitaire, a coach‑build initiative that limits production to a maximum of two cars per year. Each model is a ground‑up redesign of the chassis, interior and personalised details, intended to tell a new chapter of Bugatti’s storied heritage.

Why It Matters
Beyond its breathtaking aesthetics and raw performance, the F.K.P. Hommage symbolizes Bugatti’s commitment to preserving the legacy of its most iconic machines while pushing the boundaries of bespoke engineering. It is not just a car; it is a moving tribute to the pioneers who shaped automotive history.
