Overview
Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece from its exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Built as a single unit, this hypercar pays homage to the first Bugatti Veyron and honors the visionary engineer Ferdinand Karl Piëch, whose work laid the foundation for the iconic W16 power‑plant.

Exterior Design – A New Take on a Classic
The Hommage adopts the legendary Veyron silhouette while introducing a dramatically enlarged air intake and a 3‑D horse‑bit grille machined from a solid block of aluminium. A specially formulated two‑tone paint job wraps the body: a shimmering silver‑aluminium base beneath a transparent, high‑gloss red coat creates a striking depth effect.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber trim replaces the traditional black paint, offering a subtle contrast reinforced by a 10% black pigment blended into the clear coat. The result is a visual richness that can be felt as well as seen.

Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels mirror the original Veyron design – 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear – wrapped in dedicated Michelin tires. The front and rear light clusters have been modernised but still echo the classic Veyron style, while the massive rear vent retains the historic hypercar’s signature look.

Interior – Bespoke Luxury Redefined
Inside, the F.K.P. Hommage diverges sharply from the Chiron and the recent W16 Mistral. It features a round, Bauhaus‑inspired steering wheel reminiscent of the original Veyron. Instead of conventional leather, the cabin is upholstered in Car Couture fabric, an exclusive weave developed in Paris and first showcased on the Bugatti Tourbillon.

The door panels inherit the Car Couture surface but are accentuated with premium brown leather. The centre console and transmission tunnel are handcrafted from solid aluminium blocks and host a limited‑edition 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch.

Personal touches include a knee‑rest plaque signed by racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birth date. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – Pure W16 Performance
At its heart lies an 8.0‑litre W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers – the same powerhouse that drives the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. Output remains at a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Acceleration figures and top‑speed numbers have not been disclosed, and the identity of the fortunate owner remains under wraps.

Production & Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation under Programme Solitaire, which limits production to a maximum of two cars per year. Each vehicle is a completely re‑imagined chassis, interior, and set of personalised details, crafted to narrate Bugatti’s storied heritage.

With its blend of historic reverence and cutting‑edge engineering, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a singular tribute to a man who helped shape the modern supercar era.
