Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. This single‑unit hypercar draws inspiration from the very first Bugatti Veyron, while paying homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the groundwork for the iconic W‑16 engine.
Exterior – Bold Aerodynamics and Hand‑Finished Paint
The F.K.P. Hommage features an enlarged front air intake, a 3D‑knurled horse‑shoe grille milled from a solid aluminium block, and a striking dual‑tone paint scheme. A silver‑metallic base lies beneath a transparent ruby‑red coat, creating a depth‑enhancing, three‑dimensional visual effect. Exposed black carbon‑fiber accents replace traditional black paint, contrasted by a 10 % black pigment blended into the glossy clear coat for tactile richness.
Wheels and Lighting
Wrapping the chassis are bespoke 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels – 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear – paired with dedicated Michelin tires. The front and rear light clusters have been modernised, echoing the classic Veyron silhouette while incorporating contemporary LED technology. Two large rear air vents retain the hypercar’s historic airflow characteristics.
Interior – Couture Craftsmanship Meets Bauhaus Elegance
Inside, Bugatti abandons traditional leather for its exclusive Car Couture woven fabric, first showcased on the Tourbillon concept. The round, Bauhaus‑inspired steering wheel mirrors the original Veyron design. Door panels and the central console are wrapped in the same Car Couture material, accented with premium brown leather patches.
A fully bespoke aluminum centre console houses a limited‑edition 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch. The knee‑side panel is engraved with the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.
Powertrain – The Heart of a Legend
Under the sleek bonnet lies an 8.0‑litre W16 engine, the same powerhouse found in the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers an astonishing 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent four‑wheel drive. Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph acceleration and top speed remain undisclosed.
Production & Exclusivity
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation of Programme Solitaire, which limits output to a maximum of two cars per year. Each vehicle is a wholly reimagined blend of bodywork, interior, and personalised details, crafted to tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s heritage. The identity of the exclusive owner has yet to be revealed.
