Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron, this one‑off hypercar celebrates the legacy of Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who pioneered the W16 engine architecture.

Exterior Design – A Modern Take on a Classic
The F.K.P. Hommage features a dramatically enlarged air intake, a three‑dimensional horse‑shaped grille milled from a solid block of aluminium, and a striking two‑tone paint finish. A base layer of silver‑metallic aluminium lies beneath a transparent ruby‑red lacquer, creating depth and a three‑dimensional visual effect.

Exposed carbon‑fiber elements replace the usual black coating, contrasting with a 10 % black pigment blended into the clear coat for a tactile and visual richness.

Wheels and Tyres
Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels faithfully echo the original Veyron design – 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear – shod with dedicated Michelin tyres for optimal grip.

Lighting
Both front and rear light clusters have been reimagined with contemporary LED technology while retaining the classic hypercar silhouette, including the large rear air vents that define the Veyron lineage.

Interior – Bauhaus Elegance Meets Parisian Craftsmanship
The cabin is completely bespoke, diverging from the Chiron and W16 Mistral. A round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel pays homage to the original Veyron.

Instead of traditional leather, the seats and trims are upholstered in Bugatti’s exclusive Car Couture fabric, hand‑woven in Paris and first showcased on the Tourbillon concept. Door panels combine this fabric with premium brown leather for a luxurious feel.

The central console and drivetrain tunnel are machined from solid aluminium and feature a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face as a functional timepiece.

Personal touches include Pierre Veyron’s signature on the knee‑support plaque, alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron bears the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – The Same Heartbeat as the Chiron Super Sport
Under the hood sits an 8.0‑litre W16 engine with four turbochargers, identical to the one that powers the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a prodigious 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph time and top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the sole owner remains confidential.

Production – A Truly Exclusive Programme
F.K.P. Hommage is the second vehicle in the Programme Solitaire, which limits production to a maximum of two cars per year. Each project involves a complete redesign of the body, interior, and bespoke details, all aimed at telling a new chapter of Bugatti’s heritage.
