Unveiling the F.K.P. Hommage
Bugatti has added a new chapter to its storied history with the launch of the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece from the ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire. Only one unit of this bespoke hyper‑car will be produced each year, making it one of the rarest modern supercars on the planet.

Design rooted in the original Veyron
Drawing direct inspiration from the iconic 2005 Bugatti Veyron—the first model to carry the W16 engine—the Hommage pays homage to both the legendary car and to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who championed the engine’s development.

Exterior craftsmanship
- Massive front air intakes and an expanded, three‑dimensional horse‑bit grille machined from a solid block of aluminium.
- Special “Red Gold” paint applied in multiple layers over a brushed‑aluminium base, creating a deep, three‑dimensional visual effect.
- Exposed carbon‑fibre ribs finished in black, contrasted with a 10 % black pigment mixed into the transparent clear coat for a tactile, rich surface.
- Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels—20 inches at the front, 21 inches at the rear—paired with bespoke Michelin tires.
- Modernised front and rear light clusters that echo the classic Veyron silhouette while adding contemporary LED technology.
Interior – heritage meets haute couture
The cabin is a completely new creation, distinct from the Chiron and the upcoming W16 Mistral. A round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the original Veyron sits at the driver’s console.

Exclusive materials
- Seats upholstered in Car Couture, a proprietary woven fabric debuted on the Bugatti Tourbillon, offering a luxurious alternative to traditional leather.
- Door panels wrapped in the same Car Couture material, combined with premium brown leather for a refined texture.
- Center console and transmission tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium blocks, each featuring a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch dial.
- Knee‑side inserts engraved with Pierre Veyron’s signature and Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birthdate.
- The front apron bears the “Solitaire” coach‑building logo, underscoring the car’s bespoke nature.
Powertrain – the beating heart
Under the hood lies the 8.0‑litre W16 engine with four turbochargers, the same power unit that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Performance figures—including 0‑60 mph time and top speed—remain under wraps, preserving the mystique of this singular masterpiece.

Exclusivity and legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second vehicle in the Programme Solitaire, a venture that produces at most two cars per year. Each project is a fully re‑imagined chassis, interior, and set of bespoke details, crafted to tell a new chapter of Bugatti’s heritage.

While the identity of the future owner remains confidential, the car stands as a rolling tribute to the engineering daring of Ferdinand Karl Piëch and the timeless allure of the Veyron.
