Design Inspiration and Exterior
The Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage is the second masterpiece from the ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire, a coach‑building initiative that creates at most two cars per year. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron, the car celebrates Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the engineer who championed the W‑16 power unit.

Its most striking features are the enlarged front air intakes and a re‑engineered 3‑D horse‑shoe grille, milled from a solid block of aluminium. The body is finished in a bespoke deep‑red paint that sits over a silver‑aluminium base, creating a vivid, three‑dimensional visual effect. Exposed black carbon‑fiber accents replace traditional black paint, while a subtle 10% black pigment in the clear coat adds depth and tactile contrast.

Along the sides, two large vent openings echo the classic hypercar silhouette. The car rides on 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels – 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear – shod with Michelin tires specifically developed for the model. Updated front and rear lighting packages retain the Veyron’s iconic look while adding a modern touch.

Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, the F.K.P. Hommage departs from the leather‑laden interiors of previous Bugatti models. The cockpit features the round Bauhaus‑style steering wheel first seen on the Veyron, but the upholstery is a unique Paris‑sourced “Car Couture” fabric introduced on the Tourbillon concept. Door panels combine this fabric with premium brown leather, delivering a luxurious yet contemporary feel.

The centre console and transmission tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium, showcasing bespoke engineering. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch is mounted on the console, underscoring the car’s horological ties. The knee‑rest bears the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron, while an inset honors Piëch with his initials and birth date. The front apron proudly displays the Programme Solitaire coach‑build logo.

Powertrain and Performance
At the heart of the Hommage lies an 8.0‑litre W‑16 engine equipped with four turbochargers – the same architecture that powers the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The power unit delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent all‑wheel drive. While official acceleration figures and top speed remain undisclosed, the powertrain promises performance on par with Bugatti’s most extreme creations.

Exclusive Production and Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is a limited‑run vehicle, with only two examples slated for production each year, each one entirely bespoke. Every aspect – from exterior panels to interior trims – is customised to tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s heritage. The identity of the first owner remains private, adding an extra layer of mystique to this tribute to automotive history.
