Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage, a one‑off hypercar that pays tribute to the legendary engineer Ferdinand Karl Piëch and the very first Bugatti Veyron.

Design inspired by the original Veyron
The F.K.P. Hommage draws its silhouette from the 2005 Veyron, featuring an oversized front air intake and the iconic horse‑shaped 3D grille, now machined from a solid block of aluminium. The rear retains the classic large vent that defined the original hypercar.

Exclusive paint and carbon‑fiber finishes
The body is cloaked in a special two‑tone red lacquer. A silver aluminium base lies beneath a transparent, glossy red coat, creating a striking depth‑effect. Exposed carbon‑fiber elements are finished in black, contrasting with a subtle 10 % black pigment blended into the clear coat for a tactile, visual richness.

Wheel and tyre package
Original‑inspired 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels arrive in 20‑inch front and 21‑inch rear sizes, wrapped in bespoke Michelin tyres developed exclusively for this model.

Reimagined lighting and aerodynamic cues
Modernised front and rear light clusters echo the Veyron’s language while incorporating the latest LED technology. The hypercar also keeps the signature large air vents on either side of the cabin.

Luxury interior – a fresh take
Inside, the cockpit abandons traditional leather for Bugatti’s proprietary Car Couture fabric, first seen on the Tourbillon concept. The steering wheel returns to the round Bauhaus‑style design of the original Veyron. Door panels feature Car Couture‑covered surfaces paired with premium brown leather accents, while the centre console and transmission tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium blocks.

A limited‑edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon 41 mm watch is embedded in the instrument cluster. The knee‑rest bears the signature of Pierre Veyron, alongside Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birth date. The front apron displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Heart of the beast – the W16 engine
Powering the Hommage is the 8.0‑litre W16 engine with four turbochargers, carried over from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent four‑wheel drive.

Exclusivity and heritage
Only two units of each Programme Solitaire model are produced annually, each fully bespoke from chassis to interior. The F.K.P. Hommage continues Bugatti’s tradition of storytelling through engineering, celebrating the legacy of Ferdinand Karl Piëch and the iconic Veyron.

While performance figures and the identity of the exclusive owner remain under wraps, the F.K.P. Hommage stands as a living museum piece – a hypercar that marries historic reverence with cutting‑edge craftsmanship.
