Overview
Bugatti has unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece of its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire. Limited to a single unit for now, the car is a heartfelt homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch – the engineering visionary who laid the groundwork for the legendary W16 engine – and to the very first Bugatti Veyron ever built.

Exterior Design
The Hommage takes the iconic Veyron silhouette and pushes it further with a massive front air intake and an expanded, three‑dimensional horse‑shoe grille milled from a solid block of aluminium. A special “Red Depth” paint job layers transparent scarlet over a silver‑aluminium base, creating a striking three‑dimensional visual effect.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber trim replaces conventional black paint, while a subtle 10% black pigment in the clear coat adds depth and a tactile contrast. The wheels are a nod to the original Veyron – 12‑spoke chrome‑plated rims, 20‑inch up front and 21‑inch at the rear, shod with dedicated Michelin tyres.

Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, the Hommage diverges from the Chiron and Mistral line‑ups, featuring a round Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the classic Veyron. Instead of traditional leather, the cabin is upholstered with an exclusive Paris‑made Car Couture fabric, first showcased on the Bugatti Tourbillon concept.

Door panels inherit the Car Couture surface blended with premium brown leather, while the central console and drivetrain cover are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium blocks. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch is embedded in the console, underscoring the car’s bespoke nature.

Personal touches include a knee‑rest bearing Pierre Veyron’s signature and the initials and birth date of Ferdinand Karl Piëch, as well as the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo on the front apron.

Powertrain
At the heart of the Hommage lies the 8.0‑liter W16 engine with four turbochargers – the same power‑plant that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑100 km/h times and top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the exclusive owner remains under wraps.

Limited Production & Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage marks the second project of the Programme Solitaire, which caps output at two cars per year. Each vehicle is a fully bespoke reinterpretation of Bugatti’s heritage, crafted to tell a unique story of the brand’s legendary lineage.

Conclusion
With its singular blend of historic tribute, avant‑garde design, and blistering performance, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a true collector’s dream – a living museum piece that honors both the man and the machine that reshaped automotive history.
