First Look at the New 911 GT3 RS
In early 2026 a brand‑new Porsche 911 GT3 RS rolled into Ho Chi Minh City, turning heads with a vivid Guards Red paint job. This is the third example of the 992.1 generation to be registered in Vietnam, joining a black and two white units that arrived earlier in the year.

Design and Aerodynamics
The latest GT3 RS carries the aggressive silhouette of Porsche’s track‑only 911 GT3 R and 911 RSR racers. Its wide body, sharp carbon‑fiber splitters and a rear wing that deploys electrically – a system reminiscent of F1’s DRS – generate massive downforce. At 200 km/h the car pushes up to 409 kg of pressure on the road, climbing to 860 kg at 285 km/h.

Performance Figures
- Engine: 4.0‑litre naturally aspirated flat‑six
- Power: 525 hp (383 kW)
- Torque: 465 Nm
- Transmission: 7‑speed PDK dual‑clutch
- 0‑100 km/h: 3.2 seconds
- Top speed: 296 km/h
In 2022 the GT3 RS sliced a 6‑minute‑44.848‑second lap around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, making it the third quickest production car on the circuit at the time.

Exclusive Features
The model does not include the optional Weissach Package – a VR‑priced add‑on (≈ VND 2.7 billion) that adds carbon‑fiber exterior trim, front and rear chassis braces, and additional weight‑saving measures. However, it does come with a set of ultra‑light GT3 RS alloy wheels (20‑inch front, 21‑inch rear) and a choice of finish colors: Pyro Red, Satin Black or Indigo Blue, each costing an extra VND 40 million.

Inside, drivers find carbon‑fiber bucket seats as standard, with the option to upgrade to 18‑way Adaptive Sports seats. The steering wheel is equipped with rotary switches that control driving mode, electronic balance, and traction settings.

Pricing and Availability in Vietnam
The base price for a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Vietnam starts at VND 17.69 billion (around US$ 730,000). Fully loaded with all optional equipment, the price can climb past the VND 20 billion mark.

According to Znews, by the end of January 2026 at least four GT3 RS units (992.1) have been imported: one black, two white and the Guards Red example currently on display.
