Porsche 911 GT3 RS lands in Ho Chi Minh City, painted Guards Red and priced at VND 17.7 billion. See its specs and why collectors covet it – learn more!

The latest Porsche 911 GT3 RS has turned heads in Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in the brand’s classic Guards Red paintwork and carrying a price tag of roughly VND 17.7 billion (about USD 750,000). It is only the third GT3 RS to be seen on Vietnamese roads, and the first to sport the iconic red hue.

Development and Design
Unveiled in August 2022, the 992‑generation 911 GT3 RS draws heavily from Porsche’s pure‑race lineage, echoing the aerodynamics of the 911 GT3 R and the historic 911 RSR. The car’s wide‑track body, aggressive air intakes, and stripped‑down rear luggage compartment (replaced by a sophisticated cooling system) showcase its track‑focused DNA.

Racing Pedigree
Even before its official registration in Vietnam, the GT3 RS made a cameo in the 2024 Gumball 3000 rally and set a notable lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife – 6 minutes 44.848 seconds – making it the third fastest production car on the legendary circuit at the time.

Performance Highlights
- Engine: 4.0‑litre naturally‑aspirated flat‑six
- Power: 525 hp (383 kW) at 7,500 rpm
- Torque: 465 Nm (343 lb‑ft) at 4,750 rpm
- Transmission: 7‑speed PDK dual‑clutch
- 0‑100 km/h (0‑62 mph): 3.2 seconds
- Top speed: 296 km/h (184 mph)
Aerodynamics & Technology
The GT3 RS features a large, electrically actuated rear wing that mimics Formula 1’s DRS system, allowing the driver to adjust downforce on the fly. At 200 km/h the car generates 409 kg of aerodynamic load, rising to 860 kg at 285 km/h, delivering razor‑sharp grip on the track.

Interior, Wheels & Options
Standard interior appointments include carbon‑fiber bucket seats and a driver‑centric cockpit. Buyers can opt for the 18‑way Adaptive Sports seats for added comfort. Wheel choices are lightweight multi‑spoke alloys – 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear. Exterior colour finishes such as Pyro Red, Satin Black or Indigo Blue add another VND 40 million to the base price.

The coveted Weissach Package – which adds extensive carbon‑fiber bodywork, front and rear axle balance shafts and a host of weight‑saving measures – is not fitted on the Vietnamese examples. The package alone is worth nearly VND 2.7 billion.

Vietnamese Market & Pricing
In Vietnam, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS starts at VND 17.69 billion. Fully equipped, the price can creep past VND 20 billion, positioning it among the country’s most exclusive supercars.

Availability
According to Znews’ research, by the end of January 2026 at least four GT3 RS units (992.1) have been imported: one in Guards Red, two in white and one in black. The limited numbers underline the model’s rarity and high demand among local collectors.

For enthusiasts who crave the purest expression of Porsche’s racing heritage, the 911 GT3 RS offers a rare blend of road‑legal usability and track‑ready performance – now available on Vietnam’s streets.
