After more than six months of showcasing the coupe version, Italy’s iconic marque has rolled out the all‑new Ferrari Amalfi Spider. This open‑top supercar replaces the Roma Spider and marks the latest entry in Ferrari’s high‑performance convertible lineup.

Design & Exterior
Designed by the Ferrari Design Studio, the Amalfi Spider adopts a 2+ layout with the roof mechanism at the rear and a front‑mounted engine. The configuration optimises weight distribution (48:52 front‑to‑rear) and enhances handling dynamics.

The front end mirrors the coupe’s sharp lines, while the car debuts a brand‑new “Rosso Tramonto” paint – a sunset‑inspired red that evokes the Amalfi Coast at dusk.

Dimensions & Practicality
Measuring 4,660 mm (L) × 1,974 mm (W) × 1,305 mm (H) with a 2,670 mm wheelbase, the Spider’s dry weight sits around 1,556 kg. A five‑layer fabric roof is offered in four bespoke colours, plus two technical suede options featuring a shimmering three‑dimensional effect.

The luggage compartment holds roughly 255 L with the roof up, dropping to 172 L when the top is down. The roof folds or unfolds in just 13.5 seconds, even while the car is travelling at up to 60 km/h.

Interior & Technology
Inside, the “dual‑cockpit” concept combines a 15.6‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25‑inch central touchscreen, and an 8.8‑inch display for the passenger seat. The 2+ seating arrangement makes the rear seats suitable for children and adds extra luggage flexibility. Integrated wind deflectors help minimise turbulence when the roof is open.

Performance & Powertrain
Under the hood sits a 3.9‑litre twin‑turbo V8 delivering an astonishing 640 hp and 760 Nm of torque – identical to the coupe. Power is sent through an 8‑speed dual‑clutch F1‑style transmission to a rear‑wheel‑drive system.

The Amalfi Spider rockets from 0‑100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and tops out at 320 km/h. Drivers can choose from five Manettino modes – Wet, Comfort, Sport, Race and ESC‑Off. An electronically controlled rear wing offers three settings (LD, MD, HD), generating up to 110 kg of downforce at speeds above 250 km/h.

Pricing & Market Position
While Ferrari has not yet disclosed the Amalfi Spider’s price, the U.S. version of the coupe is listed around $262,000. The Spider will compete directly with the Aston Martin Vantage Roadster and the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet.

With its blend of blistering performance, cutting‑edge technology and everyday practicality, the Ferrari Amalfi Spider sets a new benchmark for luxury open‑top supercars.
