Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its Programme Solitaire – the ultra‑exclusive Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron and dedicated to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the groundwork for the iconic W16 engine, this one‑off hypercar blends heritage craftsmanship with cutting‑edge technology.

Design and Aerodynamics
The F.K.P. Hommage borrows the classic silhouette of the original Veyron while introducing a dramatically enlarged front air intake and a sculpted 3‑D horse‑shoe grille milled from a solid aluminium billet. These aerodynamic cues not only enhance cooling for the massive powerplant but also give the car a commanding road presence.

Exclusive Exterior Finish
A bespoke, deep‑red paintwork is applied in multiple high‑tech layers. Beneath the glossy ruby coat lies a reflective silver aluminium base that creates a striking depth effect. Exposed carbon‑fiber weave in matte black replaces conventional black paint, while a subtle 10% black pigment is blended into the transparent topcoat, delivering a tactile and visual contrast that catches the eye from every angle.

Wheel and Lighting Upgrades
The wheels pay homage to the original Veyron with twelve‑spoke chrome‑plated rims – 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear – wrapped in bespoke Michelin tires. Modern LED head‑ and tail‑lamp clusters, designed in the spirit of the Veyron’s signature styling, provide sharper illumination and a contemporary aesthetic.

Bespoke Interior
Inside, the cabin is a celebration of Art‑Deco and Bauhaus influences. A round steering wheel reminiscent of the Veyron’s classic design sits beneath a dashboard finished with Car Couture‑woven fabric – an exclusive material first showcased on the Bugatti Tourbillon. Door panels combine the same Car Couture textile with premium brown leather, while the central console and transaxle housing are machined from solid aluminium blocks.

Adding a touch of haute‑horology, the centre console hosts an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch with a 41 mm dial. A plaque bearing the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron sits next to an engraving of Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birthdate. The front bumper is adorned with the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo, underlining the project’s exclusive nature.

Heart of the Machine
At its core lies an 8.0‑liter W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers – the same power unit that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The engine delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, channeled through a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and an all‑wheel‑drive system that ensures instantaneous power delivery.

Ultra‑Limited Production
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation from Programme Solitaire, a coach‑build initiative that caps production at two cars per year. Each vehicle is uniquely re‑engineered from the ground up – exterior, interior, and personalized details – with the sole purpose of narrating Bugatti’s storied heritage. The identity of the first owner remains confidential, further reinforcing the model’s mystique.
