Bugatti has unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second ultra‑exclusive project in its Programme Solitaire. Limited to a single unit, the car celebrates the legacy of Ferdinand Karl Piëch and pays homage to the original Bugatti Veyron, the model that first proved the viability of the legendary W16 power‑unit.

A One‑Off Masterpiece
Inspired directly by the 2005 Veyron prototype, the Hommage reinterprets the classic silhouette with modern, aggressive touches. A massive front air intake, an enlarged three‑dimensional horse‑head grille machined from a solid aluminium block, and sculpted side vents give the car a freshly dynamic presence while retaining the iconic hypercar proportions.

Design Language Pays Homage
The exterior is finished in a unique, deep‑red coat applied over a silver‑aluminium base. This multi‑layer paint system creates a striking depth effect that shifts with the light. Exposed black carbon‑fibre woven panels replace traditional black paint, adding subtle texture and a tactile contrast enhanced by a 10% black pigment mixed into the transparent clear coat.

Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels, 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear, are fitted with bespoke Michelin tires, mirroring the original Veyron’s wheel design. Updated front and rear light clusters adopt a contemporary aesthetic while echoing the classic Veyron styling, and the signature large dorsal vent behind the cockpit remains intact.

Interior Crafted for Exclusivity
Inside, the Hommage departs from the leather‑heavy cabins of the Chiron and W16 Mistral. The steering wheel returns to the round, Bauhaus‑inspired shape first seen on the Veyron, wrapped in Car Couture – a proprietary Parisian‑fabric exclusive to Bugatti. Door panels feature the same Car Couture fabric combined with premium brown leather inserts.

The central console and gearbox tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium blocks, each piece bespoke to the car. A highlight is the 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch‑dial, seamlessly integrated into the instrument cluster. Knee‑level plaques bear the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch, while the front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build badge.

Powertrain and Performance
Under the bonnet lies the heart of the Hommage: an 8.0 L W16 engine with four turbochargers, directly derived from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The power output remains an astonishing 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and a permanent all‑wheel‑drive system.

Specific acceleration figures and top‑speed numbers have not been disclosed, and the identity of the fortunate owner remains a secret.

The Solitaire Programme and Rarity
F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation of the Programme Solitaire, which caps production at two vehicles per year. Each project is a total redesign – from bodywork to interior – with an aim to tell a new chapter of Bugatti’s storied heritage.

With its blend of historic reverence and cutting‑edge craftsmanship, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a unique tribute to the legends who defined the marque and a testament to the endless possibilities of automotive art.
