Bugatti has officially unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece from its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire. Conceived as a heartfelt homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch and the very first Bugatti Veyron, this singular hypercar pushes the brand’s artistry to new heights.

Exterior – Modernised Classic
The F.K.P. Hommage draws its silhouette from the original Veyron while introducing a massive front air intake and a three‑dimensional “horse‑bit” grille, cast from solid aluminium. Its striking red finish employs a multi‑layer coating system: an aluminium base, a reflective silver primer, and a glossy transparent red topcoat that creates a depth‑enhancing, three‑dimensional visual effect.

Exposed carbon‑fibre trim in matte black replaces conventional black paint, contrasting with a subtle 10 % black pigment blended into the clear coat for a rich tactile feel. The car rides on bespoke 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels – 20‑inch up front and 21‑inch at the rear – capped with dedicated Michelin tires.

Interior – Bespoke Luxury
Inside, the F.K.P. Hommage is a departure from the Chiron and the W16 Mistral. It features a round, Bauhaus‑inspired steering wheel reminiscent of the classic Veyron. The upholstery is crafted from Car Couture woven fabric, a Parisian exclusive first shown on the Bugatti Tourbillon, instead of traditional leather.

Door panels echo the Chiron’s design but are wrapped in the same Car Couture material combined with premium brown leather. The centre console and transmission tunnel are hand‑machined from solid aluminium blocks, and a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch is integrated into the instrument cluster.

Personal touches include Pierre Veyron’s signature on the knee‑rest, alongside Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birthdate. The front apron bears the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – Unchanged Beast
Under the hood lies the legendary 8.0‑litre W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers, borrowed directly from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It still delivers an astonishing 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a dual‑clutch 7‑speed gearbox and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph times and top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the sole owner remains a secret.

Limited Production – A Living Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second offering from Programme Solitaire, which caps production at two cars per year. Each vehicle undergoes a complete redesign of its bodywork, interior, and bespoke details, with the aim of storytelling the heritage of Bugatti.

With its unique blend of historic reverence and cutting‑edge craftsmanship, the F.K.P. Hommage stands as a testament to Bugatti’s dedication to preserving and evolving its legendary DNA.
