Bugatti has unveiled the second creation of its exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron and conceived as a homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the mastermind behind the W‑16 power‑unit, this hyper‑limited masterpiece showcases the brand’s pinnacle of craftsmanship.

Exterior cues that echo history
The Hommage features an oversized front air intake and a signature 3‑D horse‑shoe grille, both machined from a solid block of aluminium. Its paintwork stands out with a layered “red‑on‑silver” finish: a thin silver aluminium base beneath a transparent, high‑gloss red coat creates striking depth and a three‑dimensional visual effect.

Exposed carbon‑fibre accents are finished in matte black instead of traditional paint, contrasting with a subtle 10 % black pigment blended into the clear coat for a tactile and visual richness.

Original‑inspired 12‑spoke chrome wheels arrive in 20‑inch front and 21‑inch rear sizes, paired with bespoke Michelin tires. The updated front and rear light clusters retain the classic Veyron silhouette while adopting modern LED technology. Two large rear air‑intake ducts behind the cockpit preserve the timeless hypercar silhouette.

Inside the cabin – a blend of heritage and innovation
While the Chiron and the W16‑Mistral set recent interior benchmarks, the F.K.P. Hommage takes a fresh direction. It adopts the round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel first seen on the Veyron.

Instead of conventional leather, the seats and trim are upholstered in Bugatti’s exclusive Car Couture fabric, a Paris‑crafted textile that debuted on the Tourbillon concept. Door panels borrow the Car Couture‑covered surfaces from the Chiron, accented with premium brown leather inserts.

The central console and transmission tunnel are bespoke, milled from solid aluminium billets. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face adorns the console, while the knee‑rest bears Pierre Veyron’s signature alongside Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birth date. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – the heart of a legend
Under the hood lies the 8.0‑litre W16 engine, identical to the one powering the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers an astonishing 1 600 hp and 1 600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and an all‑wheel‑drive system that can distribute power continuously.

Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph time or top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the exclusive owner remains confidential.

Programme Solitaire – rarity redefined
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second vehicle in the Programme Solitaire line, which limits production to a maximum of two cars per year. Each project involves a complete redesign of the body, interior, and personalized details, aiming to tell a new chapter of Bugatti’s storied heritage.

With its blend of historic reverence, cutting‑edge engineering, and ultra‑exclusive craftsmanship, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a true collector’s dream.
