Bugatti has unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second ultra‑exclusive project from its Programme Solitaire coach‑building initiative. Only a handful of cars are built each year, and this model is intended as a singular tribute to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the engineer who championed the original W16 engine that powered the legendary Veyron.

Exterior – A Modern Take on a Classic
The design draws heavily on the first‑generation Veyron, featuring massive front air intakes and an expanded 3‑dimensional horse‑bit grille milled from a solid aluminium billet. A bespoke “heritage red” paint scheme adds depth: a silver aluminium primer lies beneath a translucent ruby‑red clearcoat, creating a striking three‑dimensional visual effect.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber accents replace traditional black paint, while a subtle 10 % black pigment in the clearcoat enhances contrast both to the eye and the touch. The car rides on 12‑spoke chrome‑finished wheels – 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear – shod with Michelin tires custom‑spec’ed for the project.

Newly designed front and rear light clusters echo the Veyron’s styling language, and the iconic rear aero‑ducts remain, preserving the hypercar’s classic silhouette.

Interior – Bespoke Luxury Reimagined
Inside, the F.K.P. Hommage abandons the carbon‑fiber‑wrapped cockpit of the Chiron in favour of an entirely fresh cabin. The round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel, a nod to the original Veyron, commands the driver’s attention.

Seating surfaces are upholstered with Car Couture, an exclusive woven fabric crafted in Paris and first introduced on Bugatti’s Tourbillon concept. Door panels combine this premium fabric with rich brown full‑grain leather, delivering a tactile contrast that feels both modern and timeless.

The central console and transmission tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium, each piece engineered to exacting tolerances. A standout feature is a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch, seamlessly integrated into the console as a functional art piece.

Personal touches include a knee‑area plaque bearing the signature of race‑driver Pierre Veyron, alongside Ferdinand Piëch’s initials and birthdate. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build badge.

Powertrain – Unchanged Legend
At its heart lies the same 8.0‑liter W16 engine with four turbochargers that powers the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. Delivering a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, the power is sent through a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox to an all‑wheel‑drive system.

While official acceleration and top‑speed figures have not been released, the engine’s output remains identical to the Chiron’s, promising performance in the hypercar’s legendary benchmark range. The identity of the exclusive owner has also been kept confidential.

Heritage – Part of the Programme Solitaire
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second masterpiece from Programme Solitaire, an initiative that creates up to two fully bespoke Bugatti hypercars per year. Each project re‑imagines the bodywork, interior, and personalisation details to tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s storied legacy.

By marrying historic inspiration with cutting‑edge craftsmanship, the F.K.P. Hommage stands as both a celebration of Ferdinand Piëch’s engineering vision and a testament to Bugatti’s enduring pursuit of automotive artistry.
