Honouring a Visionary
The Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage is the second masterpiece of the ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron, this one‑off hypercar pays homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch – the engineer who laid the groundwork for the legendary W16 power unit.

Exterior: Modernising an Icon
While the silhouette echoes the classic Veyron, the Hommage introduces a massive front air intake and a bold, 3‑D horse‑shaped grille machined from a solid block of aluminium. The body is finished in a striking two‑tone paint: a deep, transparent red over a silver‑aluminium base, creating a three‑dimensional visual depth that changes with the light.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber elements replace traditional black paint, contrasting with a subtle 10% black pigment mixed into the clear coat for a tactile and visual richness. The car rides on chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels – 20 inches up front, 21 inches at the rear – shod with bespoke Michelin tires.

Lighting and Aerodynamics
Both front and rear light clusters are re‑engineered with a contemporary aesthetic while retaining the classic Veyron silhouette. Large dorsal air vents behind the cockpit preserve the historic hypercar’s aerodynamic signature.

Interior: Couture Meets Craftsmanship
The cabin abandons conventional leather for a unique Paris‑crafted fabric called Car Couture, first seen on the Bugatti Tourbillon. The steering wheel returns to the round, Bauhaus‑inspired design of the original Veyron.

Door panels combine Car Couture fabric with premium brown leather, echoing the treatment used on the Chiron. A bespoke centre console and transmission tunnel are machined from solid aluminium, and a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch is embedded as a functional timepiece.

Personal touches include Pierre Veyron’s signature on the knee‑rest, and Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials with his birthdate etched beside it. The front apron bears the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain: The Heart of a Legend
Under the sleek bonnet lies an 8.0‑litre W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers – the same powerplant found in the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1 600 hp and 1 600 Nm of torque, paired with a 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph time and top speed remain under wraps, as does the identity of the privileged owner.

Limited Production and Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is part of Programme Solitaire’s ultra‑limited series, with a maximum of two cars produced each year. Every vehicle is a completely new design, both exterior and interior, crafted to narrate a chapter of Bugatti’s heritage.

Why It Matters
Beyond its breathtaking aesthetics and raw performance, the Hommage stands as a rolling tribute to the engineering brilliance of Ferdinand Karl Piëch and the timeless allure of the original Veyron. It reinforces Bugatti’s commitment to safeguarding its legacy while pushing the boundaries of bespoke luxury.
