Bugatti has unveiled the second chapter of its exclusive Programme Solitaire with the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. This one‑off hypercar celebrates Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s vision and the historic first‑generation Veyron, blending avant‑garde design with the brand’s legendary W16 powerplant.

Design Inspiration
The Hommage draws directly from the silhouette of the original Veyron, honoring the model that set new benchmarks for speed and engineering. Every line is a nod to Piëch’s pioneering work on the W16 engine architecture that made the Veyron possible.

Exterior Highlights
Key upgrades include a dramatically enlarged front air intake, a 3D‑fabricated horse‑shaped grille milled from a solid block of aluminium, and a striking dual‑tone paint finish. The body is coated with a multilayer system: a silver aluminium base, a transparent ruby‑red clear coat, and a final layer of high‑gloss lacquer that creates a vivid three‑dimensional effect.

Exposed carbon‑fiber accents are finished in jet black rather than traditional matte paint, offering a subtle contrast enhanced by a 10% black pigment mixed into the transparent coat. The wheel package features chrome‑plated 12‑spoke rims—inspired by the original Veyron—measuring 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear, shod with dedicated Michelin tyres.

Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, the Hommage departs from the leather‑heavy cabins of the Chiron and W16 Mistral. Instead, Bugatti employs an exclusive Paris‑created fabric called Car Couture, first seen on the Tourbillon concept. Door panels borrow the Car Couture surface from the Chiron, accentuated with premium brown leather inserts.

The centre console and drivetrain tunnel are handcrafted from solid aluminium blocks, housing a bespoke 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon clock. A tribute plaque displays Pierre Veyron’s signature alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch, while the front apron bears the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain
At its heart lies the 8.0‑litre W16 engine, identical to the unit powering the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The power output remains a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent four‑wheel drive. Acceleration figures and top‑speed numbers have not been disclosed, preserving the mystique of this exclusive prototype.

Production & Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second model in the ultra‑limited Programme Solitaire, which caps production at two cars per year. Each vehicle is a completely reimagined masterpiece, from bodywork to bespoke interior touches, designed to tell a new chapter of Bugatti’s heritage.

While the identity of the lucky owner remains confidential, the Hommage stands as a rolling tribute to the engineers and visionaries who shaped the brand’s legendary legacy.
