Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece from its exclusive Programme Solitaire: the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron and dedicated to Ferdinand Karl Piëch—the visionary behind the W16 engine—the car is a singular expression of craftsmanship and automotive art.

Programme Solitaire and the F.K.P. Hommage
Programme Solitaire is Bugatti’s ultra‑limited coachbuilding initiative, creating no more than two bespoke hypercars per year. The F.K.P. Hommage is the second offering in this series, each model built from the ground up with a unique body, interior and personalisation details that tell a distinct story of the brand’s heritage.

Exterior: A Bold Reimagining of the Veyron
The silhouette retains the classic Veyron DNA while introducing dramatic new elements. Massive wind‑tunnel intakes dominate the front, paired with an expanded 3‑D horse‑shoe grille machined from a single aluminium block. A specially formulated two‑layer paint finishes the body in a deep, glossy red that sits over a silver‑aluminium base, delivering striking depth and a three‑dimensional visual effect.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber strips replace conventional black paint, creating a subtle contrast enhanced by a 10% black pigment blended into the transparent clear coat. The wheels echo the original Veyron design—12‑spoke chrome‑plated rims, 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear—wrapped in bespoke Michelin tires.

Modernised front and rear light clusters follow the Veyron’s styling language, while the characteristic dual rear air vents remain, preserving the hypercar’s iconic rear profile.

Interior: Craftsmanship Meets Innovation
Inside, the F.K.P. Hommage diverges from the Chiron and the W16 Mistral. It features a round Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the original Veyron. Instead of traditional leather, Bugatti uses an exclusive Paris‑made Car Couture fabric—first showcased on the Tourbillon concept—to upholster the seats and interior surfaces.

Door panels inherit Car Couture’s tactile finish combined with premium brown leather inserts, while the centre console and transmission tunnel are handcrafted from solid aluminium billets. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch graces the console, underscoring the car’s ultra‑luxury ambition.

Personal touches include Pierre Veyron’s signature beside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch on the knee‑side pad, and the Programme Solitaire “Solitaire” logo embroidered on the front apron.

Powertrain: The Heart of a Legend
Under the bonnet lies the legendary 8.0‑litre W16 engine, the same power‑plant that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a 7‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent four‑wheel drive. Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph times and top speed have not yet been disclosed.

Exclusivity and Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is a one‑off tribute, its ownership kept confidential to preserve the mystique of the project. As the second creation of Programme Solitaire, it exemplifies Bugatti’s commitment to preserving its heritage while pushing the boundaries of bespoke automotive engineering.

For enthusiasts and collectors, the F.K.P. Hommage represents more than a hypercar—it is a moving museum piece that celebrates the engineering marvels of the past and the visionary spirit of Ferdinand Karl Piëch.
