Just two months after the mid‑cycle refresh of the standard S‑Class hit the global stage, Mercedes‑Maybach unveiled its most lavish derivative at a high‑profile ceremony in Beijing. Branded as the 2026 Mercedes‑Maybach S‑Class facelift, the model is billed as the most comprehensive upgrade to date, designed as a “peaceful island” for its occupants.

Exterior: Bold Presence Meets Bespoke Detailing
The refreshed Maybach sports an oversized grille framed by distinctive Maybach vertical slats and a prominent monogram badge. Customers can choose from a range of wheel designs, including 20‑inch polished forged five‑spoke rims or 21‑inch Manufaktur wheels finished in a striking gold‑tone.

The signature “double‑star” headlights, carried over from the standard S‑Class, are now accented with Rose Gold detailing, adding a touch of opulence. Measuring 5,484 mm long, 1,921 mm wide and 1,510 mm high with a 3,396 mm wheelbase, the Maybach sedan is 290 mm longer than a regular S‑Class and 180 mm longer than the extended‑wheelbase version.

Colour & Personalisation
Through the Manufaktur programme, buyers can select from more than 150 new exterior paints, with options for single‑tone or two‑tone finishes. For an truly unique statement, the Manufaktur Made‑to‑Measure service offers bespoke, one‑off colour combinations.

Rear Design: Subtle Yet Distinct
The rear end mirrors the standard S‑Class silhouette, featuring a three‑star tail‑lamp cluster. Distinguishing touches include a rear‑air diffuser and a chrome‑finished dual‑exhaust system that accentuate the Maybach badge.

Interior: A Sanctuary of Luxury and Sustainability
Inside, the cabin is dominated by a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.4‑inch central touchscreen, and a 12.3‑inch passenger‑seat display – all powered by the latest MBUX Superscreen system. Premium leather options from Manufaktur sit alongside the eco‑friendly Mirville upholstery, crafted from natural fibers and recycled polyester.

The rear executive configuration offers deeply reclinable seats, a 10‑litre refrigerator stocked with Robbe & Berking champagne flutes, and fully automated doors – turning the back seat into a mobile lounge.
