BMW Group’s 2025 deliveries edge up 0.5% to 2.46 million, thanks to a 17.7% jump in MINI sales, while BMW and Rolls‑Royce volumes dip. Learn more.
Overall Delivery Figures
BMW Group handed over a total of 2,463,715 vehicles in 2025, a modest 0.5 % increase over 2024. The flagship BMW brand slipped 1.4 % to 2,169,761 units, while the ultra‑luxury Rolls‑Royce recorded a 0.8 % decline, delivering 5,664 cars.

Mini’s Remarkable Turnaround
The real star of the year was Mini. The Oxford‑based marque posted a 17.7 % rise, shipping 288,290 units. A refreshed product lineup and strong demand for its electric models—accounting for more than one‑third of Mini’s total sales—propelled the growth.
Mini’s two China‑built EVs, the Cooper SE (J01) and Aceman (J05), are currently sold only in Asian markets, but they contribute significantly to the brand’s electric‑vehicle share.

Electrification Gains Momentum
Pure‑electric vehicles represented 18 % of the Group’s total deliveries, with 442,072 BEVs on the road, up 3.6 % year‑on‑year. Including plug‑in hybrids, electrified sales reached 642,087 units, an 8.3 % increase, meaning more than a quarter of all BMW Group cars were electrified in 2025.
Regional Performance
Both BMW and Mini posted solid growth in Europe (+7.3 %) and the United States (+5 %). In contrast, the Chinese market continued to challenge the Group, with deliveries down 12.5 % to 625,527 units. The new “Neue Klasse” models aimed exclusively at China will be crucial to reversing this trend.

Motorcycle Segment Dip
BMW Motorrad experienced a tougher year, with motorcycle and scooter shipments falling 3.7 % to 202,563 units.
Looking Ahead to 2026
BMW remains optimistic about 2026. The company confirmed the launch of a new‑generation 3 Series and a redesigned X5 later this year. The all‑electric i3 sedan and a facelifted 7 Series are also slated for release, promising fresh momentum for the Group’s growth.
