Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. This one‑off hypercar draws direct inspiration from the very first Veyron, while serving as a heartfelt homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary behind the W16 engine architecture.

Design inspiration
The F.K.P. Hommage resurrects the classic Veyron silhouette but reinterprets every line with modern flair. A massive, functional air inlet dominates the front, feeding the 8.0‑litre quad‑turbo W16. The iconic horse‑shaped 3D grille is widened and milled from a single aluminium block, underscoring Bugatti’s commitment to handcrafted precision.

Exterior mastery
- Specialty red paint finished with a multi‑layer process: a silver‑aluminium base beneath a transparent ruby‑red coat creates a striking depth‑effect.
- Exposed black carbon‑fibre weave replaces traditional black paint, blended with 10% black pigment for a tactile, high‑contrast surface.
- Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels echo the original Veyron design—20″ up front, 21″ at the rear—fitted with bespoke Michelin tires.
- Updated front and rear light clusters retain the vintage hypercar’s signature large air scoops behind the cockpit.
Interior luxury reimagined
Inside, the Hommage departs from the Chiron’s carbon‑rich cockpit and embraces a round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the original Veyron. Rather than conventional leather, the cabin is upholstered with Car Couture fabric, a Paris‑crafted textile first seen on the Bugatti Tourbillon. Door panels blend this exclusive fabric with premium brown leather for a sumptuous feel.

The centre console and drivetrain covers are hand‑carved from solid aluminium, each piece bespoke. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch crowns the dash, reinforcing the car’s ultra‑luxury pedigree.

Personal touches include a knee‑pad engraved with racing legend Pierre Veyron’s signature and Ferdinand Piëch’s initials and birth date. The front apron proudly displays the Solitaire coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – the beating heart
Under the bonnet lies the 8.0 L W16 engine borrowed from the Chiron Super Sport, delivering a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque. Power is transferred through a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox to an all‑wheel‑drive system, ensuring blistering acceleration and relentless grip.

Performance figures such as 0‑100 km/h time and top speed remain under wraps, as does the identity of the exclusive owner who will receive this singular work of art.

Exclusivity and heritage
F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation in the limited‑run Programme Solitaire, which caps production at two cars per year. Each vehicle is a fully customised reinterpretation of Bugatti’s shell, interior, and details, crafted to narrate a chapter of the brand’s storied legacy.

With its blend of historic reverence, cutting‑edge engineering, and unrivalled craftsmanship, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a timeless tribute to both the legendary Veyron and the man who made its existence possible.
