Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron and created as a heartfelt tribute to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the foundation for the iconic W16 engine, this one‑off hypercar pushes the limits of craftsmanship and personalization.

Design Inspiration
The Hommage draws its soul from the 2005 Veyron, the model that redefined performance standards. Every line, surface and detail is re‑imagined to celebrate the engineering legacy of Piëch while delivering a fresh, modern aesthetic.

Exterior Craftsmanship
Bold, wide air intakes dominate the front façade, feeding the massive power unit beneath. The signature 3‑D horse‑shaped grille has been enlarged and milled from a solid block of aluminium, giving the car a striking, sculptural presence.

A deep, two‑layer red finish crowns the body. A silver‑aluminium primer lies beneath a transparent, high‑gloss red coat, producing an eye‑catching depth and a subtle three‑dimensional effect as the light moves across the surface.

Exposed black carbon‑fibre strips replace conventional black paint, creating a tactile contrast that is further enhanced by a 10% black pigment blended into the transparent red layer. The result is a rich visual and haptic experience.

The wheel package stays true to the Veyron lineage: 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels, 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear, shod with bespoke Michelin tires. Updated front and rear light units blend contemporary LED technology with the classic hypercar silhouette, while the signature large rear vent doors preserve the vintage character.

Bespoke Interior
Inside, the Hommage is a departure from the Chiron and the W16 Mistral. The steering wheel returns to the round Bauhaus‑style inspired by the original Veyron, providing a nostalgic connection to Bugatti’s heritage.

Instead of traditional leather, the cabin is upholstered in exclusive Car Couture fabric, a Paris‑made textile first displayed on the Bugatti Tourbillon. Door panels echo the Chiron’s design but are wrapped in the same premium Car Couture material combined with high‑grade brown leather accents.

The centre console and transmission tunnel are handcrafted from solid aluminium billets, each piece bespoke to the client’s specifications. A highlight is the 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch integrated into the console, underscoring the watch‑making level of precision.

Personal touches abound: the knee‑side bolsters bear the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain and Performance
At its heart lies the 8.0‑litre W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers – the same powerhouse that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and an all‑wheel‑drive system that operates continuously.

While exact acceleration figures and top‑speed numbers have not been disclosed, the vehicle promises performance on par with the most extreme hypercars ever built.

Exclusivity and Heritage
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation of Programme Solitaire, a highly exclusive coach‑building initiative that produces a maximum of two cars per year. Each project involves a complete redesign of the body, interior and personalized details, allowing Bugatti to tell a unique chapter of its storied legacy.

The identity of the sole owner remains confidential, adding an extra layer of mystique to this already legendary automobile.
