Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti FKP Hommage. This ultra‑limited hypercar (only one unit will be built) celebrates the first Bugatti Veyron and pays heartfelt tribute to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the groundwork for the legendary W16 engine.

Design Inspiration from the First Veyron
The FKP Hommage draws directly from the original Veyron’s silhouette, yet it is re‑imagined with modern, performance‑focused details. A massive front air scoop, an expanded 3‑D horse‑shoe grille milled from a solid aluminium billet, and an aggressive rear diffuser all signal a fresh, aerodynamic language while respecting the classic heritage.

Exterior Finishes That Turn Heads
The body is cloaked in a special deep‑red paint applied using a multi‑layer coating process. Beneath the glossy red sits a silver‑toned aluminium base, creating an eye‑catching depth‑effect that shifts with the light. Exposed carbon‑fiber strands are left raw in black, contrasting with a subtly tinted transparent black clear coat for a tactile, visual richness.

Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels echo the original Veyron design – 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear – paired with dedicated Michelin tyres for ultimate grip.

Lighting and Aerodynamics
The front and rear light clusters have been modernised, yet they retain the classic Veyron styling cues. Two large air intakes behind the cockpit remain, preserving the hypercar’s iconic breathing system.

Interior – A Blend of Heritage and Innovation
Inside, the cabin is a radical departure from the Chiron and W16 Mistral line‑ups. The steering wheel returns to the round Bauhaus style first seen on the Veyron. Instead of traditional leather, Bugatti uses its exclusive Car Couture woven fabric, originally showcased on the Tourbillon concept, providing a luxurious yet breathable finish.

Door panels adopt the same Car Couture material, trimmed with premium brown leather for a refined touch. The central console and gearbox housing are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium, showcasing bespoke machining excellence.

At the centre of the dash, a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face replaces a conventional instrument cluster, underlining the car’s collector‑grade pedigree.

Personalised details include a knee‑rest plaque bearing the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside Ferdinand Piëch’s initials and birth date. The front bumper proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – The Same Beast Under the Hood
Under the sculpted bonnet lies an 8.0‑litre W16 engine with four turbochargers – the same power unit that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a 7‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑100 km/h time and top speed remain undisclosed, as are the identity of the fortunate owner of this singular work of art.

Limited Production Philosophy
The FKP Hommage is the second creation from the Programme Solitaire, which caps production at two cars per year. Each model is a fully re‑engineered masterpiece—new bodywork, bespoke interior, and personalised elements—designed to tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s storied heritage.

For connoisseurs of automotive art, the Bugatti FKP Hommage stands as a living tribute to a legend and a benchmark of ultimate craftsmanship.
