Bugatti has unveiled the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece of its exclusive Programme Solitaire coach‑build series. Limited to just two units a year, this one‑off hypercar is a heartfelt tribute to Ferdinand Karl Piëch and the very first Bugatti Veyron.

Design inspired by the original Veyron
The F.K.P. Hommage draws its silhouette from the 2005 Veyron, yet it has been reimagined with a sweeping front air‑intake, a widened 3D horse‑shoe grille milled from a solid aluminium billet, and oversized vent openings that accentuate its aggression.

Exterior finishes that capture attention
A specially formulated “ruby‑red” paint layers over a silver‑aluminium base, creating a deep, three‑dimensional shine that shifts with the light. Exposed black carbon‑fiber accents replace traditional black paint, offering a tactile contrast enhanced by a subtle 10 % black pigment blended into the clear coat.

Wheels and tyres
The car wears 20‑inch chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels at the front and 21‑inch at the rear, paired with bespoke Michelin tires for maximum grip and a nod to the original Veyron’s racing heritage.

Modernised lighting and aerodynamic cues
Updated head‑ and tail‑lamp clusters echo the classic Veyron styling while incorporating the latest LED technology. The rear also retains the iconic large dorsal air‑intake that defines the hypercar’s heritage.

Interior: a blend of Bauhaus and couture
Inside, the cabin abandons the conventional leather of the Veyron in favour of Bugatti’s exclusive “Car Couture” woven fabric, first showcased on the Tourbillon concept. The round, Bauhaus‑inspired steering wheel mirrors the original Veyron’s design.

Door panels feature a combination of Car Couture fabric and premium brown leather, while the centre console and transmission tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium billets. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch is embedded in the dash, underscoring the car’s horological heritage.

Personal touches include a signed plaque from racing legend Pierre Veyron, and an engraved reference to Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birthdate. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build badge.

Powertrain: pure Bugatti performance
At its heart lies the legendary 8.0‑litre W16 engine with four turbochargers, the same powerhouse that drives the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers an astonishing 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seamless seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent all‑wheel drive.

While exact acceleration figures and top‑speed numbers remain under wraps, the F.K.P. Hommage is expected to match the blistering performance of its Chiron siblings.

Exclusive legacy
The identity of the first owner remains confidential, preserving the mystique of this collector’s item. As the second creation in the Programme Solitaire lineage, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage exemplifies the brand’s commitment to bespoke engineering and storytelling.

Stay tuned for more updates on this extraordinary tribute hypercar.
