Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire: the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron and created as a heartfelt salute to Ferdinand Karl Piëch – the visionary who laid the foundations for the groundbreaking W16 engine – this one‑off hypercar redefines bespoke automotive art.

Design Philosophy & Exterior Styling
The F.K.P. Hommage borrows the classic silhouette of the 2005 Veyron while introducing bold, modern cues. A massive roof‑mounted air intake funnels air to the engine, and a re‑engineered 3‑D horse‑shaped grille, machined from a solid block of aluminium, stretches wider than ever before.

The car’s coat is a striking layered red. Underneath the glossy transparent finish lies a silver‑aluminium primer that gives the paint depth and a subtle three‑dimensional shimmer when viewed from different angles. Exposed carbon‑fiber trims are finished in matte black, contrasting with a clear coat that contains 10% black pigment, delivering a tactile and visual richness that feels both aggressive and refined.

Wheels, Tires & Lighting
Four custom‑crafted chrome‑plated wheels echo the original Veyron design – 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear – each wrapped in dedicated Michelin tires for optimal grip. The front and rear lighting clusters are updated with contemporary LED technology while preserving the iconic Veyron aesthetic. Large dorsal air ducts behind the cockpit remain, reinforcing the car’s classic hypercar lineage.

Interior – A New Take on Bauhaus Elegance
Inside, the Hommage abandons traditional leather in favor of Bugatti’s exclusive Car Couture fabric, hand‑woven in Paris and first showcased on the Tourbillon concept. The steering wheel returns to the round Bauhaus‑style design that defined the original Veyron.

Door panels inherit the Car Couture weave combined with premium brown leather, echoing the luxurious feel of the Chiron. The centre console and transmission tunnel are entirely bespoke, CNC‑machined from solid aluminium blocks. Adding to the opulence, a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face is embedded into the centre console.

Personal touches abound: the knee‑side panel bears the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – The Heart of a Legend
Under the striking bonnet lies the 8.0‑litre W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers, the same power unit that powers the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The engine delivers a staggering 1,600 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a 7‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent all‑wheel drive.

While official acceleration figures and top‑speed numbers remain under wraps, the mechanical DNA suggests performance on par with the most extreme hypercars ever built.

Exclusivity & Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation of the Programme Solitaire, a project that limits production to just two units per year. Each vehicle is a completely re‑imagined shell, interior, and a suite of bespoke details that tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s heritage.

The identity of the first owner remains a secret, adding an extra layer of mystique to this living piece of automotive history.

For collectors and enthusiasts, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage isn’t just a car – it’s a meticulously crafted tribute to a pioneering engineer and a timeless masterpiece that celebrates the spirit of the original Veyron.
