Bugatti has officially unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second ultra‑rare creation from its Programme Solitaire initiative. Limited to a single unit per year, the hypercar celebrates the pioneer Ferdinand Karl Piëch and the very first Bugatti Veyron.

Design Philosophy
Inspired by the original Veyron, the Hommage reinterprets classic cues with modern artistry. A massive roof‑driven air intake, an expanded three‑dimensional “horse‑bit” grille machined from a solid block of aluminium, and a striking red multilayer paint finish give the car a fresh, aggressive silhouette while honoring its heritage.

Exterior Highlights
The red coating is applied over a silver‑aluminium base, creating a deep, three‑dimensional visual effect. Exposed carbon‑fiber elements appear in matte black, contrasted by a subtle 10% black pigment blended into the transparent lacquer, delivering both visual richness and tactile intrigue.

Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels echo the original Veyron design—20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear—wrapped in bespoke Michelin tires. The front and rear light clusters adopt a more contemporary styling while preserving the iconic large dorsal air vents that defined the classic hypercar.

Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, the Hommage diverges from the Chiron and W16 Mistral’s interiors. It features a round steering wheel reminiscent of Bauhaus‑era Veyron models and replaces traditional leather with an exclusive Car Couture fabric produced in Paris, first showcased on the Bugatti Tourbillon.

The door panels borrow the Car Couture‑wrapped surfaces from the Chiron, complemented by premium brown leather inserts. A fully bespoke centre console and transmission tunnel are milled from solid aluminium, highlighted by a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face.

Personal touches include a knee‑rest plaque bearing the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain
At its heart lies an 8.0‑litre W16 engine, the same beast that powers the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. Delivering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, the power is channeled through a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and an all‑wheel‑drive system that operates continuously.

Performance figures such as 0‑100 km/h acceleration and top speed remain undisclosed, as does the identity of the exclusive owner.

Exclusivity & Heritage
The F.K.P. Hommage marks the second masterpiece of Programme Solitaire, which limits production to a maximum of two cars per year. Each project involves a complete redesign of bodywork, interior, and bespoke details, weaving a narrative that celebrates Bugatti’s legendary legacy.
