Bugatti has officially unveiled the second project of its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire: the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Limited to a single unit each year, this hypercar is a heartfelt salute to the first Bugatti Veyron and to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who helped bring the iconic W16 engine to life.

Design Inspiration and Exterior
Drawing directly from the 2005 Veyron, the Hommage features a massive, wind‑channeling front opening and an enlarged, 3‑D horse‑shoe grille machined from a solid aluminium block. The body is cloaked in a bespoke, deep‑red finish that reveals a silver‑aluminium base beneath a translucent clear coat, creating striking depth and a three‑dimensional visual effect.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber weave replaces traditional black paint, while a subtle 10% black pigment is blended into the transparent coat for a tactile, high‑contrast surface. The wheels are a nod to the original Veyron — 12‑spoke chrome‑plated rims, 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear, fitted with dedicated Michelin tires.

Lighting and Aerodynamics
The front and rear light clusters have been modernised but still echo the Veyron’s signature styling. Large rear vent doors remain, preserving the classic hypercar silhouette while enhancing airflow for optimal performance.

Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, the Hommage breaks away from the Chiron and the W16 Mistral with a completely new cabin layout. A round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel pays homage to the original Veyron’s cockpit.

Instead of traditional leather, the seats and upholstery are wrapped in the exclusive Paris‑made Car Couture fabric, first shown on Bugatti’s Tourbillon concept. Door panels continue the Car Couture theme, accented with premium brown leather.

The centre console and transmission tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium blocks, each bespoke to the vehicle. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch faces the driver, underscoring the car’s ultra‑luxury positioning.

Personal touches include a knee‑bolster engraved with Pierre Veyron’s signature and the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front footwell bears the “Solitaire” coach‑build badge.

Powertrain
At heart lies an 8.0‑litre W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers — the same powerplant used in the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, channeled through a 7‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph acceleration and top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the exclusive owner remains confidential.

Exclusivity and Heritage
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second masterpiece of Programme Solitaire, which caps production at two cars per year. Each vehicle is entirely re‑designed — exterior, interior, and bespoke details — to narrate a chapter of Bugatti’s storied heritage.

With its blend of historic tribute, cutting‑edge engineering, and artisanal craftsmanship, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a singular celebration of automotive excellence.
