Bugatti has unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece of its exclusive Programme Solitaire. Built as a single‑unit hypercar, this model pays homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch—the visionary who pioneered the W16 engine architecture that made the original Veyron possible.

Design Inspiration
The Hommage draws its DNA directly from the first‑generation Bugatti Veyron. Every curve, vent and sculpted surface is a nod to the classic’s timeless silhouette while incorporating modern aerodynamic refinements such as a larger front air intake and an expanded, 3‑D horse‑hair grille milled from solid aluminium.

Exterior Highlights
A striking two‑tone paint finish sets this car apart. A deep, glossy red coat sits atop a silver‑aluminium base, creating a layered visual depth that shifts with the light. Exposed black carbon‑fiber elements replace conventional black paint, offering a subtle contrast amplified by a 10% black pigment blend within the transparent clear coat.

- 22‑inch front and 21‑inch rear chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels, echoing the original Veyron design.
- Custom Michelin tires crafted for a one‑off fit.
- Modernised LED head‑and‑tail units that retain the classic Veyron aesthetic.
- Signature rear air scoops that preserve the hypercar’s iconic rear‑venting character.
Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, Bugatti departs from traditional leather in favor of the exclusive Paris‑made Car Couture woven fabric—first introduced on the Bugatti Tourbillon. Door panels inherit Car Couture upholstery blended with premium brown leather, while the central console and transmission tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium blocks, featuring a bespoke 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch.

Special touches include:

- A steering wheel inspired by the Bauhaus‑style round wheel of the original Veyron.
- Knee‑high pads engraved with Pierre Veyron’s signature and Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birth date.
- The “Solitaire” coach‑build logo subtly embossed on the front apron.
Powertrain
At its heart lies the legendary 8.0‑litre W16 engine, the same powerplant that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. Delivering a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, the engine is paired with a 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent all‑wheel drive. Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph times and top speed remain under wraps.

Limited Production & Heritage
F.K.P. Hommage is the second exclusive build under Programme Solitaire, a project that limits production to a maximum of two cars per year. Each vehicle is wholly re‑designed—from bodywork to interior—intended to tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s storied legacy.

While the identity of the sole owner remains confidential, the Hommage stands as a testament to Bugatti’s dedication to artisanal excellence and the enduring reverence for its engineering pioneers.
