Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron, this one‑off hypercar celebrates the legacy of Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who helped bring the original W16 engine to life.

Design Evolution
The Hommage reimagines the Veyron’s iconic silhouette with a dramatically enlarged front air intake and an expanded, three‑dimensional horse‑head grille milled from a solid block of aluminium. These bold cues not only improve airflow but also give the car a fresh, aggressive stance.

Exterior Highlights
A unique two‑tone paint scheme dominates the exterior. A reflective silver‑aluminium base lies beneath a lustrous, deep‑red clearcoat, creating a striking visual depth that changes with the light. Exposed carbon‑fiber panels are finished in matte black, contrasted by a subtle 10% black pigment mixed into the transparent lacquer for a tactile, premium feel.

Rolling on bespoke 12‑spoke chrome wheels – 20 inches up front, 21 inches at the rear – the car is shod with dedicated Michelin tires that match the vehicle’s performance pedigree. Updated LED clusters at the front and rear echo the Veyron’s classic language while delivering modern illumination.

Interior Craftsmanship
The cabin marks a departure from the Chiron and W16 Mistral. A round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel pays homage to the Veyron era, while the upholstery steps away from traditional leather. Instead, Bugatti employs its exclusive Paris‑crafted Car Couture fabric, first showcased on the Tourbillon concept, offering a luxurious, breathable texture.

Door panels inherit the Car Couture treatment, accented with premium brown leather inserts. The central console and transmission tunnel are hand‑finished from solid aluminium, each piece meticulously machined. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face crowns the instrument cluster, underscoring the car’s horological ties.

Personal touches include a knee‑area plaque signed by racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birth date. The front apron bears the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo, emphasizing the car’s bespoke nature.

Powertrain and Performance
At its heart sits the 8.0 L W16 engine with four turbochargers – the same powerhouse that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent all‑wheel drive. While exact 0‑60 mph and top‑speed figures remain under wraps, the specs suggest performance on par with the most extreme hypercars.

Limited Production
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation within Programme Solitaire, which caps production at just two units per year. Each vehicle is a completely new interpretation of Bugatti’s chassis, interior, and bespoke details, crafted to tell a unique chapter of the brand’s storied heritage.

Ownership details are confidential, adding an extra layer of mystique to this already exclusive masterpiece.
