Overview
Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. This ultra‑exclusive hypercar pays reverent homage to the very first Bugatti Veyron and to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the groundwork for the legendary W16 engine.

Exterior Design – Modern Classic
The Hommage reimagines the Veyron’s silhouette with a dramatically enlarged front air intake and an expanded, 3‑D horse‑shaped grille machined from a solid block of aluminium. A specially formulated dual‑layer paint finishes the body in a deep, glossy red over a silver‑aluminium base, creating a striking three‑dimensional visual depth.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber accents replace the traditional black paint, contrasting subtly with a 10 % black pigment blended into the transparent lacquer for a rich, tactile finish.

- 20‑inch front and 21‑inch rear chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels, inspired by the original Veyron design, wrapped in bespoke Michelin tires.
- Modernised front and rear light clusters that echo the Veyron’s aesthetic while delivering contemporary illumination.
- Two large dorsal air scoops behind the cockpit – a signature feature of classic hypercars.
Interior – Bauhaus Meets Couture
The cabin is a departure from the Chiron and W16 Mistral, featuring a round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the original Veyron. Instead of conventional leather, the Hommage showcases Car Couture – an exclusive woven fabric developed in Paris and first seen on the Bugatti Tourbillon.

Door panels adopt the same Car Couture material, paired with premium brown leather inserts, while the centre console and transmission case are handcrafted from solid aluminium blocks. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face adorns the centre console, underscoring the car’s ultra‑luxury credentials.

Personal touches include Pierre Veyron’s signature on the knee‑rest, Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birthdate nearby, and the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo on the front apron.

Powertrain – The Same Beast
At its heart lies an 8.0‑liter W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers – the same powerhouse that fuels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. Output remains a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent four‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph time and top speed have not been disclosed, preserving the mystique surrounding this one‑off masterpiece.

Production & Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second project under Programme Solitaire, a highly selective initiative that produces a maximum of two cars per year. Each vehicle is a fully bespoke re‑interpretation of Bugatti’s heritage, from chassis to interior, designed to tell a unique story of the brand’s legacy.

While the identity of the buyer remains confidential, the Hommage stands as a tribute not only to an automotive icon but also to the engineer whose vision made it possible.
