Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron, the car serves as a heartfelt tribute to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the groundwork for the legendary W‑16 engine.

Exterior design – bold and bespoke
The Hommage takes the classic Veyron silhouette and reimagines it with a massive front air intake, a newly‑scaled 3‑D “horse‑bit” grille milled from a solid block of aluminium, and an eye‑catching two‑tone paint finish. A silver aluminium base lies beneath a transparent ruby‑red coat, creating a striking depth‑effect that shifts with the light.

Exposed carbon‑fibre elements appear in matte black instead of the usual gloss black paint, while 10 % black pigment is blended into the clear coat for a subtle, tactile contrast.

Wheels, lighting & aerodynamics
Chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels echo the original Veyron design – 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear – shod in Michelin sole‑specific tires. The front and rear light clusters have been modernised yet retain the vintage hyper‑car’s signature large air scoops behind the cockpit.

Interior – a fusion of heritage and haute couture
Inside, Bugatti abandons traditional leather for its exclusive Paris‑crafted “Car Couture” fabric, first seen on the Tourbillon concept. The steering wheel returns to the round Bauhaus‑style shape that defined the Veyron era.

Door panels borrow the Car Couture surface from the Chiron, accented with premium brown leather. The centre console and transmission tunnel are bespoke‑machined from solid aluminium, each housing a limited‑edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon 41 mm watch.

Personal touches include a knee‑rest bearing Pierre Veyron’s signature and the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch, while the front badge proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – unchanged but ferocious
At its heart lies the 8.0‑litre W‑16 engine with four turbochargers, the same powerplant that drives the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent four‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph time and top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the exclusive owner remains a secret.

Production – rarity redefined
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation from Programme Solitaire, a ultra‑limited coach‑build programme that caps production at two cars per year. Each vehicle is a completely unique reinterpretation of the chassis, interior and bespoke details, continuing Bugatti’s tradition of celebrating its own legacy.

With its combination of historic homage, cutting‑edge craftsmanship, and raw power, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a one‑off tribute to a legend—and a collector’s dream.
