Background and Inspiration
Bugatti has unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece from its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire. The one‑off hypercar pays homage to the original Bugatti Veyron and to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the engineer who laid the groundwork for the legendary W16 power‑unit.

Exterior Design – Modern Yet Classic
The silhouette draws directly from the 2005 Veyron, but the Hommage receives a fresh front opening with a massive air intake and a widened, 3‑D horse‑shoe grille machined from solid aluminium. Its paintwork features a deep, layered red finish over a brushed‑silver aluminium base, creating a striking three‑dimensional visual effect.

Exposed carbon‑fiber trim in matte black replaces conventional black paint, subtly blended with a 10 % black pigment in the clear coat for added depth. The car rides on bespoke 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels – 20‑inch up front and 21‑inch at the rear – wrapped in exclusive Michelin tires.

Lighting and Aerodynamics
Updated LED clusters at the front and rear echo the Veyron’s heritage while delivering a contemporary light signature. The classic large dorsal air scoops behind the cockpit remain, preserving the hypercar’s iconic silhouette.

Interior – Bespoke Craftsmanship
Inside, the Hommage departs from the carbon‑fiber‑wrapped cabin of the Chiron and instead embraces a round, Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the original Veyron. The seats and upholstery use Car Couture, a proprietary woven fabric introduced on the Bugatti Tourbillon, while the door panels combine this material with premium brown leather.

The central console and transmission tunnel are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium, housing a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch. Personal touches include Pierre Veyron’s signature on the knee‑side panel and Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birthdate beside it. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build badge.

Powertrain – The Heart of a Legend
Under the bonnet sits an 8.0‑litre W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers, identical to the one found in the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1 600 hp and 1 600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent four‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑100 km/h time and top speed have not been released, and the identity of the exclusive buyer remains confidential.

Production & Legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation of Programme Solitaire, which limits production to a maximum of two units per year. Each vehicle is entirely re‑designed – from bodywork to interior – to tell a new chapter of Bugatti’s heritage.
