Bugatti has unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece of its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire. Limited to a single unit per year, this one‑off hypercar reimagines the very first Bugatti Veyron while paying homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who pioneered the W16 engine architecture.

Design inspiration and exterior evolution
The Hommage draws its silhouette from the original Veyron but introduces a dramatically enlarged front air‑intake, a 3‑D horse‑bit grille milled from a solid aluminium billet, and a striking deep‑red paint finish. A silver aluminium base coat sits beneath the transparent red lacquer, creating a three‑dimensional visual depth that shifts with the viewer’s angle.

Exposed carbon‑fiber trim is finished in matte black instead of the traditional glossy black, while a subtle 10 % black pigment is blended into the clear coat for a refined contrast that feels both visual and tactile.

Wheels and lighting
Original‑inspired 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, shod with exclusive Michelin tires. The front and rear light clusters have been modernised yet retain the classic Veyron aesthetic, and the massive rear air‑exhaust vents remain a signature hypercar feature.

Interior – a Bauhaus revival
The cabin is a departure from the Chiron and W16 Mistral, featuring a round Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the Veyron era. Instead of conventional leather, Bugatti opted for its proprietary Car Couture woven fabric, first showcased on the Tourbillon concept. Door panels echo the Chiron’s design but are wrapped in the same Car Couture material complemented by premium brown leather.

The central console and transmission tunnel are handcrafted from solid aluminium and host a bespoke 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch. A personalized knee‑rest bears the signature of race driver Pierre Veyron alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron is adorned with the Programme Solitaire coach‑build logo.

Powertrain – the heart of a legend
Under the hood lies the 8.0‑litre W16 engine with four turbochargers, carried over from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers the same 1 600 horsepower and 1 600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent four‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑60 mph times and top speed have not been disclosed, and the identity of the exclusive owner remains confidential.

Programme Solitaire – preserving Bugatti heritage
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second vehicle in the Programme Solitaire, a bespoke initiative that produces no more than two cars per year. Each project involves a complete redesign of the body, interior, and personalized elements, telling a unique chapter of Bugatti’s storied legacy.

With its blend of historic tribute and modern engineering, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a timeless celebration of automotive art and the pioneering spirit of Ferdinand Karl Piëch.
