Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire – the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Only one unit will be built, serving as a heartfelt homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary behind the revolutionary W16 engine, and to the historic first‑generation Bugatti Veyron.

Design Inspiration and Aerodynamics
The F.K.P. Hommage draws directly from the iconic silhouette of the original Veyron, while introducing modern aerodynamic enhancements. A dramatically enlarged front air intake and an expanded, 3‑D horse‑shoe grille machined from a solid block of aluminium improve airflow and give the car an even more aggressive stance.

Exterior Finishes
The body is cloaked in a special‑edition deep‑red paint system. Under the transparent lacquer lies a silver aluminium base coat that adds visual depth and a striking three‑dimensional effect. Exposed carbon‑fiber elements are finished in matte black, contrasting with a 10% black pigment infused into the clear coat for a tactile, richly layered appearance.

Complementing the paintwork are bespoke 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels – 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear – fitted with exclusive Michelin tires. The front and rear lighting clusters have been re‑engineered for a contemporary look while still echoing the classic Veyron aesthetic. Two large rear duct openings retain the hyper‑car’s signature cooling cues.

Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, Bugatti abandons traditional leather for a unique, Paris‑crafted textile called Car Couture, first showcased on the Bugatti Tourbillon concept. The steering wheel returns to the round Bauhaus style of the original Veyron, reinforcing the tribute theme.

Door panels feature the same Car Couture material combined with premium brown leather, a nod to the Chiron’s interior treatment. The central console, gearbox housing and rear‑engine cover are hand‑finished from solid aluminium blocks, each piece bespoke to the car’s singular character.

A standout feature is the integration of a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face into the centre console. The knee‑area garnish bears the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front apron proudly displays the “Solitaire” coach‑build badge.

Powertrain – The Heart of a Legend
Under the sleek bonnet lies an 8.0‑litre W16 engine equipped with four turbochargers, identical to the unit powering the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The power output remains an astonishing 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent all‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑100 km/h time and top speed have not been disclosed, preserving the mystique surrounding this one‑off creation.

Exclusivity and Heritage
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second vehicle in the Programme Solitaire, which limits production to a maximum of two cars per year. Each project is a completely re‑imagined chassis, interior and bespoke detailing, intended to tell a new chapter of Bugatti’s storied heritage.

While the identity of the buyer remains confidential, the vehicle stands as a moving tribute to the engineering genius of Ferdinand Karl Piëch and the timeless allure of the original Veyron.
