Overview
Bugatti has unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, the second masterpiece from its exclusive Programme Solitaire. Crafted as a single, ultra‑limited hypercar, the vehicle pays homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary behind the W‑16 engine, and to the very first Bugatti Veyron that set new benchmarks for speed.

Exterior Design
Inspired by the original Veyron, the Hommage features an enlarged aerodynamic intake, a 3‑D horse‑shaped grille milled from a solid aluminium block, and a striking two‑tone paint finish. A metallic silver base coat lies beneath a transparent ruby‑red lacquer, creating depth and a three‑dimensional visual effect. Exposed black carbon‑fiber strips replace conventional black paint, contrasting with a subtle 10 % black pigment mixed into the clear coat for a rich tactile feel.

The car rides on bespoke 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels—20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear—shod with dedicated Michelin tyres. Modernised front and rear light clusters echo the Veyron’s styling while retaining the classic large rear air‑ducts that define the hypercar’s silhouette.

Interior Craftsmanship
Inside, the Hommage breaks away from the Chiron and W16 Mistral with a completely new cabin. The steering wheel returns to the round Bauhaus‑inspired design of the original Veyron. Instead of traditional leather, Bugatti uses its exclusive Car Couture fabric, first seen on the Tourbillon concept, offering a luxurious, breathable texture. Door panels combine this fabric with premium brown leather, while the central console and gearbox housing are hand‑crafted from solid aluminium.

A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch sits at the centre of the instrument cluster, underscoring the car’s bespoke nature. The knee‑rest bears the signature of Pierre Veyron alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch, and the front apron displays the “Solitaire” coach‑building badge.

Powertrain
At its heart lies the 8.0‑liter W‑16 engine with four turbochargers, the same unit that powers the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. The power output remains an astonishing 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and an all‑wheel‑drive system that delivers power to all four wheels continuously.

While official acceleration and top‑speed figures have not been released, the engine’s performance figures suggest a truly unprecedented driving experience.

Limited Production & Heritage
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second vehicle in Programme Solitaire, which aims to create no more than two cars per year. Each model is a completely reimagined masterpiece, from bodywork to interior, designed to tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s storied heritage. The identity of the exclusive owner remains confidential, adding to the car’s mystique.

Conclusion
With its blend of historic tribute, cutting‑edge engineering, and unrivalled craftsmanship, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a testament to the brand’s legacy and its relentless pursuit of automotive perfection.
