Bugatti has added a new jewel to its hyper‑car crown: the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Born from the exclusive Programme Solitaire, this one‑off masterpiece pays homage to the very first Bugatti Veyron and to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the engineer who pioneered the legendary W‑16 powerplant.

Design language re‑imagined
The F.K.P. Hommage draws its silhouette from the original Veyron, but it’s been refreshed with a massive front air‑intake, a three‑dimensional “horseshoe” grille machined from a solid block of aluminium, and a striking dual‑tone paint scheme.

Exterior finish
A special red coat sits atop a silver‑aluminium primer, creating a deep, three‑dimensional visual effect. Black carbon‑fiber accents replace traditional black paint, while a subtle 10 % black pigment is blended into the transparent clear coat for added depth and tactile contrast.

Wheels and lighting
The car rolls on 20‑inch front and 21‑inch rear chrome‑plated 12‑spoke wheels, paired with bespoke Michelin tires. Modernised front and rear light clusters echo the Veyron’s style, and the iconic large side‑vent ducts are retained.

Interior – a blend of heritage and innovation
Inside, the cabin is completely re‑designed, featuring a round Bauhaus‑style steering wheel reminiscent of the Veyron. Instead of conventional leather, Bugatti employs its exclusive Car Couture fabric, first seen on the Tourbillon model, woven in Paris. Door panels combine this fabric with premium brown leather for a luxurious feel.

The central console and transmission tunnel are handcrafted from solid aluminium blocks, and a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch faces the driver. Knee‑side panels bear the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron alongside Ferdinand Karl Piëch’s initials and birthdate. A “Solitaire” coach‑build badge adorns the front lip.

Powertrain – the heart of a legend
Under the hood sits the 8.0‑litre W‑16 engine equipped with four turbochargers, directly borrowed from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a breathtaking 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox and permanent four‑wheel drive.

Performance figures such as 0‑100 km/h time and top speed remain under wraps, as does the identity of the exclusive buyer.

Limited production and legacy
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation of Programme Solitaire, which caps output at two units per year. Each vehicle is a fully bespoke reinterpretation of Bugatti’s chassis, interior and personal details, crafted to celebrate the brand’s heritage.

With its blend of historic reverence and modern engineering, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a timeless tribute to one of automotive history’s most iconic machines.
