After unveiling the exclusive Brouillard model in August 2025, Bugatti’s ultra‑personalisation arm, Solitaire, introduced its second masterpiece: the FKP Hommage. This one‑off hypercar celebrates the original Veyron—first presented more than two decades ago—and pays tribute to the engineering visionary Ferdinand Karl Piech.

Powertrain: Pure W16 Might

The FKP Hommage rides on Bugatti’s iconic W16 chassis and houses an 8.0‑liter W16 engine sourced from the Chiron Super Sport. The power unit has been re‑tuned with larger turbochargers, an upgraded cooling system, and a reinforced gearbox to handle the surging torque. The result is a jaw‑dropping 1,578 horsepower, delivered through a 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and an all‑wheel‑drive system.

Exterior: Classic Silhouette, Modern Aggression

While the silhouette remains recognisably Veyron, the design has been refined for a contemporary edge. A three‑dimensional, solid‑aluminium horse‑shoe grille replaces the original 2‑D version, flowing seamlessly into the surrounding bodywork. The rounded rear end retains the twin circular taillights, but the central exhaust is broadened for a more muscular stance.

Enlarged front air intakes feed the amplified engine, whereas the signature rear ducts behind the driver stay untouched. Narrow, sleek headlights follow Bugatti’s current aesthetic. Custom 20‑inch front wheels and 21‑inch rear wheels are wrapped in the latest Michelin tyres, marrying performance with visual balance.

The paint scheme—an exquisite red‑black finish—employs a multi‑layer process: a silver‑aluminium base underneath a clear red coat. This creates depth and a subtle colour shift as the light catches the surface.

Interior: Bespoke Luxury Meets Haute Horlogerie

Inside, the FKP Hommage diverges dramatically from any other W16‑powered Bugatti. A round, Bauhaus‑inspired steering wheel nods to the original Veyron, while the central console and armrest are machined from a single block of aluminium. Crowning the dash is a 41‑mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon—a watch that underscores the car’s ultra‑exclusive nature.

The cabin is upholstered in rich brown leather complemented by an exclusive Paris‑woven fabric, a new material introduced in Bugatti’s Tourbillon line. This combination marks the brand’s latest step in interior customisation.

Solitaire Programme: The Pinnacle of Personalisation

Solitaire sits a tier above Bugatti’s existing Sur Mesure programme, producing only two cars a year. This ultra‑limited run guarantees meticulous hand‑craftsmanship and a level of individual attention rarely seen in the automotive world.

The FKP Legacy

The “FKP” moniker previously appeared on the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, another homage to Ferdinand Karl Piech. A grandson of Porsche founder Ferdinand Porsche, Piech served as chairman of Volkswagen’s supervisory board from 2002 to 2015 and was inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 2014 for his profound industry impact.

With the FKP Hommage, Bugatti not only revives a legendary model but also immortalises the man whose vision helped shape modern supercars.
