Bugatti has unveiled the second masterpiece of its ultra‑exclusive Programme Solitaire – the F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron, this one‑off hypercar pays homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the groundwork for the legendary W‑16 engine.

Design that honors a legend
The F.K.P. Hommage reimagines the iconic Veyron silhouette with a dramatically enlarged front air intake, a three‑dimensional horse‑shaped grille machined from a solid block of aluminium, and a deep‑gloss red paintwork that sits atop a metallic‑silver primer. The layered coating creates a striking three‑dimensional visual depth that catches the eye from every angle.

Exposed black carbon‑fiber accents replace conventional black paint, subtly blended with a 10 % black pigment in the transparent red clear coat for a tactile and visual contrast that feels both modern and timeless.

Wheel and lighting upgrades
The car rides on bespoke 12‑spoke chrome‑plated wheels – 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear – shod with Michelin tires developed specifically for this model. Updated front and rear light clusters retain the classic Veyron DNA while incorporating contemporary LED technology, and the signature large rear air vents remain a hallmark of the hypercar’s heritage.

Crafted interior – luxury redefined
Inside, Bugatti abandons traditional leather in favor of its exclusive Car Couture woven fabric, first introduced on the Tourbillon concept. The steering wheel returns to the round Bauhaus‑style design of the original Veyron, while door panels feature the same Car Couture material paired with premium brown leather inserts.

A bespoke aluminium centre console and gearbox tunnel are hand‑finished, and to complete the bespoke experience, the cockpit houses a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face. The knee‑high side panels are etched with racer Pierre Veyron’s signature, alongside Ferdinand Piëch’s initials and birthdate. The front boot bears the Programme Solitaire coach‑build logo.

Heart of the beast
Under the hood lies the 8.0‑litre W‑16 powerplant borrowed from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, delivering a staggering 1 600 hp and 1 600 Nm of torque. Power is sent through a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox to an all‑wheel‑drive system, ensuring the F.K.P. Hommage matches the performance pedigree of its ancestors. Acceleration figures and top‑speed numbers remain under wraps, as does the identity of the fortunate owner.

Exclusivity by design
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation from Programme Solitaire, a coach‑build initiative that limits production to just two cars per year. Every project starts from a clean sheet – a completely re‑engineered body, custom interior, and personalized details – to tell a unique chapter of Bugatti’s storied legacy.

With its blend of historic reverence and cutting‑edge craftsmanship, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as a moving tribute to the man who made the W‑16 possible and to the timeless allure of the original Veyron.
