The Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage stands as the second masterpiece in the exclusive Programme Solitaire series, a coach‑built project limited to just two cars per year. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron, the car honors Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who pioneered the W16 power unit that made the Veyron possible.
Exterior Redefined
While echoing the iconic silhouette of the original Veyron, the Hommage introduces a massive air‑intake opening and an enlarged, 3‑D horse‑bit grille machined from a solid block of aluminium. The paintwork features a groundbreaking dual‑layer system: a silver‑aluminium base coated with a translucent ruby‑red finish, delivering an eye‑catching depth and three‑dimensional shimmer.
Exposed carbon‑fiber elements are rendered in black, contrasting with a subtle 10 % black pigment infused into the transparent clear coat, creating a rich tactile and visual experience.
- 20‑inch chrome‑plated 12‑spoke front wheels and 21‑inch rear wheels, fitted with bespoke Michelin tires.
- Modernised front and rear light clusters that subtly reinterpret the Veyron’s classic design.
- Two large rear air‑ducts retained for authentic hyper‑car airflow.
Bespoke Cabin
The interior diverges from the Chiron and W16 Mistral, returning to the Bauhaus‑inspired round steering wheel first seen on the Veyron. Instead of traditional leather, the Hommage uses an exclusive Paris‑crafted fabric called Car Couture, previously showcased on the Bugatti Tourbillon.
Door panels combine Car Couture with premium brown leather, while the central console, transmission tunnel and bespoke aluminium inserts are handcrafted from solid billets. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch face adorns the dashboard, underscoring the car’s luxury pedigree.
Personal touches include a knee‑support plaque signed by racing legend Pierre Veyron, alongside the initials and birthdate of Ferdinand Karl Piëch. The front bumper bears the “Solitaire” coach‑build logo.
Heart of the Beast
Under the hood lies an 8.0‑litre W16 engine with four turbochargers – the same powerplant that propels the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a seven‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and permanent all‑wheel drive.
