Bugatti has added a second masterpiece to its exclusive Programme Solitaire line: the F.K.P. Hommage. Inspired by the very first Bugatti Veyron, this one‑off hypercar pays homage to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary who laid the groundwork for the legendary W16 engine.
Exterior – Modern Power Meets Classic Elegance
The Hommage features a dramatically enlarged air intake and a reinterpreted three‑dimensional horse‑head grille, milled from a solid block of aluminium. Its striking red paint is applied using a multi‑layer process: a silver‑aluminium primer beneath a glossy, transparent red coat creates a deep, three‑dimensional visual effect.
Exposed carbon‑fiber trim in matte black replaces traditional black paint, contrasting subtly with a 10% black pigment blended into the clear coat for a rich tactile and visual finish. The wheels echo the original Veyron’s design – 12‑spoke chrome‑plated rims, 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear, fitted with bespoke Michelin tires.
Interior – Bespoke Luxury Reimagined
Inside, the Hommage abandons conventional leather for an exclusive Car Couture fabric, first showcased on the Bugatti Tourbillon. The round Bauhaus‑style steering wheel, a nod to the Veyron, reinforces the retro‑futuristic theme.
The door panels borrow from the Chiron, wrapped in the same Car Couture material combined with premium brown leather. A plaque on the knee‑area bearing the signature of racing legend Pierre Veyron sits beside the initials and birth date of Ferdinand Karl Piëch, while the front bumper proudly displays the “Solitaire” coachbuild badge.

Under the hood lies the 8.0 L W16 engine with four turbochargers, directly carried over from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It delivers a staggering 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, mated to a 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission and an all‑wheel‑drive system that operates continuously.
