Chery Automobile is experiencing a surge in international demand, exporting a remarkable 1,344,020 vehicles in 2025 – representing one car shipped every 23 seconds. This impressive performance solidifies Chery’s position as China’s leading exporter of passenger vehicles for an unprecedented 23 consecutive years.

Record-Breaking Export Numbers

The 2025 export figures represent a significant 17.4% increase compared to 2024. To date, Chery has exported a cumulative total of 5.85 million vehicles, with monthly exports exceeding 140,000 units for the first time this year. Overall, Chery sold 2,806,393 vehicles, with 1,700,940 units sold domestically.

Popular Models Drive Growth

Several Chery models are contributing significantly to this success. The Tiggo 8 has remained the best-selling gasoline-powered mid-size SUV in China for nine years running. The Arrizo 8 has consistently achieved monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units for 16 consecutive months, accumulating over 450,000 units sold in just 38 months since its launch.

Expanding Premium Brand: Exeed

Chery’s premium brand, Exeed, reported sales of 120,369 vehicles. The Yaoguang C-DM model, a key component of Exeed’s global new energy strategy, is now available in over 19 countries and regions. It ranks among the top three best-selling vehicles in its segment in European markets like Spain and Italy.

Jetour’s Global Expansion

The Jetour brand achieved sales of 622,590 vehicles. The Jetour X70 has surpassed one million units sold in just seven years. The Jetour Traveler has also seen strong global demand, with cumulative sales exceeding 400,000 units.

iCar/Jaecoo: Entering New Markets

The iCar brand (known as iCaur internationally) sold 96,989 vehicles. Its models are exported under the iCaur or Jaecoo brands, initially focusing on markets like Thailand, Malaysia, and Russia. For example, the iCar 03 is sold overseas as the Jaecoo 6.

Luxeed: Collaboration with Huawei

Luxeed, a brand jointly developed with Huawei, sold 90,493 vehicles. Following the launch of upgraded Luxeed R7 and S7 models, the brand achieved monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units for three consecutive months (October-December).
