Lexus has rolled out the all‑new Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance in Japan, a high‑performance variant of its RZ electric SUV line‑up. Built on the RZ 550e F Sport platform, the 600e model pushes power, aerodynamics and driving dynamics to a new level while preserving the brand’s hallmark luxury and technology.

Sharper Aerodynamics for a Sportier Look

The 600e receives a fully re‑engineered aerodynamic package inspired by Lexus’ performance models. Key visual upgrades include a sport‑styled front grille, widened sills, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and a larger rear diffuser. These elements generate additional downforce and cut drag, helping the SUV stay planted at high speeds. The ride height is lowered by roughly 20 mm compared with the RZ 550e F Sport, further enhancing stability.

Powertrain – 420 hp from Dual Electric Motors

At the heart of the RZ 600e lies a pair of electric motors delivering a combined output of 313 kW (about 420 horsepower), making it the most powerful RZ to date. While Lexus has not disclosed an official 0‑100 km/h (0‑62 mph) time, the increased torque and refined power delivery promise a noticeably quicker and smoother acceleration than earlier variants.

The SUV is equipped with a 77 kWh lithium‑ion battery that offers a WLTP‑rated range of up to 525 km (≈326 miles), providing ample electric cruising for daily drives and longer trips.

Performance‑Focused Wheels, Brakes and Suspension

  • 21‑inch matte‑black alloy wheels with a deep‑dish design.
  • Larger ventilated brake discs paired with a six‑piston caliper for confident stopping power.
  • Sport‑tuned suspension that balances comfort with sharper handling dynamics.

Inside the Cabin – Sports‑Ready Luxury

The interior blends sportiness with Lexus’ signature refinement. Seats are upholstered in Ultrasuede with contrasting blue stitching, offering a tactile, luxurious feel. Drivers will notice the yoke‑style steering wheel featuring Steer‑by‑Wire technology and an Interactive Manual Drive system that delivers a more engaging, road‑feedback‑rich experience.

Launch Details, Pricing and Availability

The RZ 600e F Sport Performance will go on sale in Japan starting 2 March 2026. Buyers can choose from two colour schemes: Black & Neutrino Gray or Black & HAKUGIN II with sporty blue accent. Pricing is set between ¥12.165 million and ¥12.440 million (approximately $2.05‑$2.30 million VND), depending on colour and equipment levels.

At present, Lexus has not announced plans to export the model to markets outside Japan, leaving fans worldwide to wait for further updates.

What It Means for the EV Luxury Segment

The RZ 600e F Sport Performance underscores Lexus’ commitment to electrifying its performance heritage. By coupling a robust 420 hp drivetrain with aggressive aerodynamics, a sport‑oriented interior and cutting‑edge steering technology, the model positions itself as a serious contender against other premium electric SUVs.
