Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has launched a limited‑edition Triton Championship model aimed at the Malaysian market, celebrating its 2025 triumph at the Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR).

The Championship Edition is offered in two distinct trims – the rugged Triton Athlete and the upscale Triton Premium – each tailored for off‑road enthusiasts.
Trion Athlete – 150 units
- Exterior: Jet Black Mica paint with exclusive AXCR graphics.
- Wheels: Off‑road tires and reinforced steel wheels.
- Tech: 9‑inch touchscreen (standard is 7‑inch) and a 360° camera system.
- Interior: Head‑rest embroidered with the AXCR champion logo.
- Powertrain: 2.4‑litre diesel engine delivering 201 hp and 470 Nm of torque.

Trion Premium – 120 units
- Exterior: White Diamond finish, 18‑inch black sport alloy wheels, front bumper cladding and AXCR badge.
