In August 2022 Porsche unveiled the all‑new 911 GT3 RS, a track‑inspired supercar that instantly captured the imagination of collectors worldwide. Built on the 992 platform, the RS version draws its styling cues from the legendary 911 GT3 R and 911 RSR race cars.
First sightings in Vietnam
After dazzling the streets during the 2024 Gumball 3000, the GT3 RS finally received Vietnamese licence plates at the start of 2026. The latest arrival, spotted cruising through Ho Chi Minh City, wears Porsche’s classic Guards Red paint and is the third RS confirmed on local roads.
Design and aerodynamics
The 911 GT3 RS boasts a wider, aggressively sculpted body, with many razor‑sharp lines that scream speed. Porsche has even removed the front luggage compartment, replacing it with a high‑tech cooling system borrowed from its race cars.
Standard wheels are lightweight aluminium alloys: 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear. Buyers can opt for special finishes—Pyro Red, Satin Black or Indigo Blue—for an additional VND 40 million.

According to Znews research, by the end of January 2026 at least four 911 GT3 RS units (992.1 version) have been imported: one in black, two in white, and the recently seen Guards Red model.
