Launch and Arrival
First unveiled in August 2022, the latest‑generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS quickly became a collector’s darling, borrowing design cues from the track‑only 911 GT3 R and 911 RSR race cars. After dazzling the 2024 Gumball 3000 super‑car rally, the model finally registered its first Vietnamese plates at the start of 2026.

Striking Design and Aerodynamics
The GT3 RS flaunts a wide‑track body, aggressive carbon‑cut lines and a front‑lid that sacrifices a traditional luggage compartment for a race‑inspired cooling system. Its signature active rear wing—mirroring Formula 1 DRS technology—adjusts downforce on demand, delivering up to 860 kg of grip at 285 km/h.

Standard wheels feature ultra‑light alloy multi‑spoke designs: 20‑inch front and 21‑inch rear. Buyers can choose from Pyro Red, Satin Black or Indigo Blue finishes for an extra VND 40 million.

Performance Figures
- Engine: 4.0‑litre naturally aspirated flat‑six boxer
- Power: 525 hp (389 kW)
- Torque: 465 Nm
- Transmission: 7‑speed PDK
- 0–100 km/h: 3.2 seconds
- Top speed: 296 km/h
- Weight: 1,430 kg (dry)
The car conquered the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6:44.848, making it the third‑fastest production vehicle at the time.

Optional Weissach Package
While the base model omits the pricey Weissach Package (≈ VND 2.7 billion), the upgrade adds carbon‑fiber exterior elements, front and rear roll‑center balancers, and further weight reduction.

Interior and Technology
Inside, the GT3 RS comes standard with carbon‑fiber bucket seats, with the option of an 18‑position Adaptive Sports seat. A multifunction steering wheel offers paddle‑shifted drive‑mode selection, electronic balance and traction control settings.

Pricing in Vietnam
Officially listed at VND 17.69 billion (around US$ 750,000), a fully optioned GT3 RS can easily surpass VND 20 billion.

Local Presence
According to Znews research, by the end of January 2026 at least four GT3 RS (992.1) units have been imported: one in black, two in white, and the recent Guards Red example that turned heads in Ho Chi Minh City.
