In August 2022, Porsche unveiled the 2022‑2023 generation of the 911 GT3 RS, a track‑inspired supercar that quickly became a collector’s dream. Now, the exotic machine has been spotted cruising the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, dressed in the brand’s iconic Guards Red paint.

Design & Aerodynamics
The new 911 GT3 RS showcases a wider body, aggressive air‑intake channels and carbon‑fiber elements borrowed from the 911 GT3 R and 911 RSR race cars. The front luggage compartment is replaced by a sophisticated cooling system, while lightweight multi‑spoke alloy wheels—20‑inch up front and 21‑inch at the rear—complete the look. Buyers can choose from Pyro Red, Satin Black or Indigo Blue finishes for an extra VND 40 million.

Performance Specs
Under the hood sits a naturally aspirated 4.0‑litre flat‑six boxer engine delivering 525 hp and 465 Nm of torque, paired with a 7‑speed PDK dual‑clutch gearbox. Porsche claims 0–100 km/h (0‑62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 296 km/h (184 mph). The car set a 6‑minute 44.848‑second lap at the Nürburgring in 2022, making it the third‑quickest production car at the time.

Advanced Aerodynamics
Active rear wing and a DRS‑style electric flap generate up to 409 kg of downforce at 200 km/h and a staggering 860 kg at 285 km/h, dramatically improving grip on the road. The optional Weissach Package—priced around VND 2.7 billion—adds even more carbon‑fiber exterior parts and a front‑and‑rear chassis brace.

Interior & Tech
Inside, the GT3 RS comes standard with carbon‑fiber bucket seats and a driver‑focused cockpit. Optional Adaptive Sports seats offer 18‑way electric adjustment. The steering wheel includes rotary switches for drive mode, electronic balance, and traction control, while the chassis features an advanced electronic suspension system.

Pricing & Availability in Vietnam
Officially listed at VND 17.69 billion (approximately US$ 760,000), the Guards Red example is the third 911 GT3 RS to arrive in Vietnam. Fully optioned, the price can exceed VND 20 billion. As of the end of January 2026, at least four units have been imported: one black, two white and the red model now on display.

What This Means for the Vietnamese Supercar Market
The arrival of the 911 GT3 RS underscores Vietnam’s growing appetite for high‑performance exotic cars. With limited local availability and a price tag that rivals luxury real estate, the GT3 RS is set to become a highly sought‑after trophy for affluent collectors.
