New Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
In August 2022 Porsche introduced the latest generation of the 911 GT3 RS – a track‑focused, road‑legal supercar that quickly became a favorite among collectors. This month the car rolled into southern Vietnam, painted in the brand’s classic Guards Red, becoming the third RS spotted on Vietnamese streets.

Design Inspired by the Track
The 992.1‑generation GT3 RS sports a wider body, aggressive air‑intake ribs and a completely removed front luggage compartment, replaced by a sophisticated cooling system borrowed from Porsche’s racing machines. Lightweight multi‑spoke alloy wheels complete the look: 20‑inch at the front and 21‑inch at the rear.

Buyers can add optional finishes such as Pyro Red, Satin Black or Indigo Blue for an additional VND 40 million, but the first owner chose the timeless Guards Red, along with the iconic “GT3 RS” racing decals that have adorned the model since 2003.

Dimensions and Aerodynamics
Compared with the standard 911 Carrera, the GT3 RS stretches to 4,572 mm in length, 1,900 mm wide and 1,322 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,457 mm. Its signature aerodynamic package generates massive downforce – up to 409 kg at 200 km/h and a staggering 860 kg at 285 km/h.

Unlike the ultra‑light “Weissach Package” (priced around VND 2.7 billion), which adds carbon‑fiber exterior parts and extra chassis bracing, the standard GT3 RS still delivers a thrilling, race‑ready experience.

Performance Figures
Under the hood lives a naturally aspirated 4.0‑liter flat‑six boxer engine producing 525 hp and 465 Nm of torque, paired with a 7‑speed PDK dual‑clutch gearbox and rear‑wheel drive. The car rockets from 0‑100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and tops out at 296 km/h.

In 2022 the GT3 RS conquered the Nürburgring Nordschleife in a lap time of 6:44.848, making it the third fastest production car around the legendary circuit at that time.

Interior and Driver Aids
The cabin features carbon‑fiber bucket seats as standard, with an optional Adaptive Sports seat offering 18‑way electric adjustment. The steering wheel integrates rotary switches for drive mode, electronic balance, and traction control, while a sophisticated electronic suspension system fine‑tunes handling on the fly.

One of the most exciting tech highlights is the electrically actuated rear wing, which works similarly to Formula 1’s DRS system, allowing drivers to modulate rear downforce according to track conditions.

Pricing and Availability in Vietnam
In Vietnam the Porsche 911 GT3 RS starts at VND 17.69 billion (approximately US$ 750,000). Fully loaded with every optional package, the price can exceed VND 20 billion.

According to Znews’ research, by the end of January 2026 at least four GT3 RS units have been imported: one in black, two in white, and the newly‑spotted Guards Red example.

What’s Next?
The arrival of the GT3 RS highlights the growing appetite for high‑performance hypercars in the Vietnamese market. With limited units and a premium price tag, the car is set to become a coveted collector’s item for local enthusiasts.
